MY HAPPY PLACE HAPPY TOGETHER LAYOUT | with Nathalie

I have never been so in love with a Doodlebug collection, as I am with the new My Happy Place Collection.  I just love the color palette, designs, and (though I do miss the cute and smiley elements) all the icons.  It is just so perfect for my style of daily documenting!!  So, I quickly unpacked it to create this page:

I love all the house icons in the collection, and drew inspiration from it to create my own.  I used the 6x6 paper pad and Odds & Ends pieces with a bit of hand stitching to create my own house.

I might need to purchase boxes of the Garden Party patterned paper. It is just the perfect background!!

I used pieces from the 6x6 paper pad to back my photos, and then placed them on the page.   Chit Chat pieces are always a must, and the ones in this collection created the perfect title.

I just added a few extra embellishments to bring more of a homey feeling to the house, and call it complete!

You are going to love the new My Happy Place Collection, and I cannot wait to see what you will create with it!  XO

LOVE NOTES LAYOUT | with Maryám

One of my favorite things from the Love Notes Collection are the flowers from the "I pick you" Odds & Ends set. If you have already seen my previous projects using this collection you will know that I have used these beautiful flowers before, but today I'm going to share a new and different way of how to use them.
For today's project, I was inspired by the Sending Love Doodle-PopsTM, so what I did was start by creating an envelope out of "love you bunches" paper. Next up, I took from flowers and leaves form the "I pick you" Odds & Ends set and hand stitching around them.

To add even some more texture to the flowers, I added liquid adhesive on certain spots of some flowers, then I grabbed my Sugar CoatingTM glitter assortment and sprinkled some glitter onto them, and to finish I added glitter SprinklesTM on the center of them.
For the title, I combined the Teensy Type Alphabet Stickers with the Abigail Stickers to spell out "Bloom & Grow" and adhered them onto vellum paper which I cut it as a banner shape and tucked it under the photo.
Last but not least, I added some more sprinklesTM here and there and some Mini Icons stickers. You can check out the full video tutorial here or watch it in HD on my YouTube channel.

And that's it for today! I hope you guys enjoyed this new project and liked the ideas I shared. Also, don’t forget that if you have any questions just leave a comment below or send me an email. I’ll be happy to help you.

Have a wonderful day!

LOVE NOTES LAYOUT & HAND EMBROIDERY | with Maryám

Valentine's Day is around the corner and today I am going to share with you how to create a quick layout to document some sweet memories. The other day I was searching through some old photos and I found one that I knew would work perfectly with the Love Notes collection
After I printed out my photo, I went through my box of Love Notes collection and carefully selected some things that coordinated with my photo and the story that I wanted to tell.

For the title of my layout, I decided to try out something different and cut out one of the cards from the Conversation Hearts 12 x 12 double-sided pattern paper. I chose the one that has lots of flowers and leaves and says "love". I put it on my layout but I felt like it needed something else so I added some hand stitching around each one of the letters.
In order to do this, I took my Craft Pick and punched holes around the border of the letters. Next, I took some mint embroidery thread and with the help of a needle added some hand stitching. You can check out the photo above to understand the process a little bit better.
To embellish the page I choose some pieces from the Odds&EndsTM set and adhered them to my layout with foam dots. In addition to that, I also decided to include some stickers and one cute doodle-popsTM typewriter that it is actually called "love story".
To finish my layout, I added some little circles from the roses are red shape sprinklesTM and lined them up under the house die-cut and also under my journaling.

That is it for today! I hope you guys enjoyed this post and liked the ideas I shared. Also, don’t forget that if you have any questions just leave me a comment or send me an email. I’ll be really happy to help you.

Have a super awesome day!
