6 X 8 MINI ALBUMS - SNOW PLACE LIKE HOME MINI ALBUM | with Tya

Hello friends! Today, I'm thrilled to share the cover of my 6x8 mini album using the Blue Jean album and the whimsical "Snow Much Fun" collection. Living here in Utah, where we truly have "the greatest snow on Earth," this project holds a special place in my heart. I'm so excited to use this album over the next two months to document the magical winter memories I've experienced. By the end, I hope to have a completed album full of inspiration for you to create your own winter-themed projects.

For the cover, I wanted to capture the cozy charm of a snow-covered home in winter. Here's how I put it all together:

To craft this adorable house design, I used a few pieces from the Home Sweet Home Chipboard album that I had lying on my shelf. I traced the cover pieces onto cardstock and pattern papers coordinating with the Snow Much Fun collection. I also turned to the Home Sweet Home Doodle Cuts die that coordinates with the chipboard album to add details to my house like the scallop edge on the roof, the windows, the snow bunches on top of the windows, and the door. They all came together so quickly with the use of this die! I loved using some of our Sugar Coated cardstock for that snowy sparkle and shine as well. The beautiful snowflakes on the "Snow Happy Together" pattern paper I used for the background look so good when paired with the deep blue color of the Blue Jean album.

To bring the house to life I added a few die-cuts from the collection. A cute little bird and tree are from the Odds and Ends and my project would not be complete without a Doodle Pop! This sweet little "Frosty Fox" ties in the pretty grays in the collection so well! The heart on the door for a knob is also found on the Frosty Fox Doodle Pop.

My love of all things ribbon and twine all got highlighted here as well as you can see- I have various ribbons tied to the album as well as some Blue Jean Chunky Twine that ties my tag to the album. The tag is from the Bits and Pieces ephemera. The tag is decorated with the "Snow Place Like Home" sentiment from the Chit Chat and a few pretty green gems from the Mini Jewels. Notice how the house I did for my cover is the same color scheme as the one on this sentiment? This was done purposefully to create continuity in my project. The sentiment was actually my inspiration for the whole album as I truly think my home here in Utah - there is "snow place" like it!

The cover of any project is the theme setter, and I couldn't be happier with how this one turned out! It's the perfect starting point for what's to come inside the album. I hope it has you as excited as I am to see how the inside pages take shape over the next coming months. Stay tuned as I fill this album with fun pages. I really hope it inspires you to create your own albums, capturing memories that warm your heart through the coldest days! Thanks for stopping by today and Happy Crafting!

TINSEL TIME CHIPBOARD HOUSE ALBUM | with Traci

Hello friends! Traci here and today, I have a super fun Christmas project for you that uses the fabulous Tinsel Time Collection and the Home Sweet Home Chipboard Album. This cute little scrapbook would be perfect for your holiday photos, and ... a great Christmas gift idea!

Tinsel Town Christmas House Shaped Mini Album

The 5x7 inch chipboard album is a blank canvas and features two covers, a roof top piece, four dividers, and four pages - giving you 16 pages in total. I could not wait to fill this mini out with Tinsel Time cuteness!

To start, I covered the front of the house in the 12x12 Festive Floral plaid paper. I wanted to add shingles to my roof, so ... I used the Home Sweet Home Doodle-cuts (metal dies) to cut them out of the pistachio Tinsel Time print and 1 row out of the Berry Merry polka dot. I lightly inked the edges of the scallops with a little Pinkfresh mint ink to give the scallops a bit of dimension.

Christmas House Shaped Mini Album with Santa's sleigh, gifts, reindeer, gems, and enamel stars

This little house needed some holiday sparkle so I added Christmas lights just under the roof line. I used mini jewels in lily white and the enamel star shaped Holiday Magic sprinkles. Since Santa is sure to visit this cute home, I added the sleigh and reindeer mini icon stickers 🎵 "up on the rooftop"🎵. They're the perfect size!

I also used the Home Sweet Home doodle-cuts dies to cut out the window panes, front door, planter boxes, and plants inside them. I used a mix of 12x12 and 6x6 pattern papers and I love the extra dimension they add. Then, I embellished the front with lots of adorable mini icon stickers. This was SO fun!

Christmas House Shaped Scrapbook Album Page with tags, a journaling card, a beautiful die cuts

Inside, I covered each page with pretty 12x12 patterned paper. Above, I used 2 tags from the Gift Giving print, a journaling card from the Christmas Candy print, and some die cuts from the Odds & Ends / Bits & Pieces. Then, I added 2 Christmas Candy sprinkles and lots of enamel glitter dots.

I love adding more photo space to my mini album pages, so here I used a 4x4 card from the Happy Holly Days paper to create a little flippie with room inside for 2 pictures. On the front, more gorgeous sprinkles.

This reindeer is so cute! I think he's my favorite die cut with his fancy antlers, red bow, and little pink bell.

Christmas Tinsel Town Scrapbook Album Page with Santa, a fireplace, stockings, and a decorated mantle

Wait ... maybe the fireplace is my favorite! Lol! The mantel has such cute details with the tiny houses, trees, and stockings. And yep, that itty bitty garland needed some glitter dots too. Everything needs glitter dots!!!

Christmas Tinsel Time Scrapbook Album Page with enamel Christmas lights, Santa, and snowflakes

Here's a great page for a picture with Santa. Tuck it behind these fun die cuts from the Odds & Ends (Santa), Bits & Pieces (string lights), and Chit Chat (Santa word). And don't forget the Twinkle Lights shape sprinkles!

Above, I cut a little free form shape to create snow under the Odds & Ends die cut. Since Santa's sleigh is so magical, I added some Holiday Magic shape sprinkles and enamel dots around it.

Christmas House Shaped Scrapbook Album Page with a pocket, journaling cards, Santa, trees, and a reindeer

Pockets are another great way to add space to your mini album. I made this one with a cute card from the 12x12 Dashing Deer paper and tucked in a journaling card from the Christmas Candy paper and 2 die cut pieces from the Odds & Ends. The die cuts are white on the back so you can journal on them as well.

Hold on, there's more! I also made the front of the pocket a flippie so you can add 2 photos inside.

Can you tell I had fun creating this cute mini album? I absolutely love the Tinsel Time Collection and the Home Sweet Home Chipboard Album. I hope this project inspires you to create one too! Happy scrapping and merry Christmas everyone!

HELLO AGAIN HOME SWEET HOME (VERY) MINI ALBUM | with Conny

Hello Again! Welcome to my beautiful casita today!  I'm sharing the tiniest/cutest mini album I have ever made using the Hello Again, Home Sweet Home Doodle Cuts! This mini album can hold 2X2 photos or can be sent to a special someone who loves happy mail!
Let's get started! I began by die-cutting the pages using the house from the Home Sweet Home Doodle Cuts. You need 13 pages with the patterned paper of your choice! I chose some cardstock from Hello Again Textured Cardstock Assortment for solid pages and some patterned pages from the Hello Again 6 x 6 Paper Pad.  You will also need two pieces of cardstock measuring 2” X 3” for the covers and one piece of cardstock for the spine measuring 2” X 2” . For the hinges I cut a piece of cardstock  2 1/2” X 1 3/4” scored 1/4” and 2 1/4” 1 1/2” X 1 3/4” scored 1/4 on both sides 1” X 1 3/4” scored at 1/4” on both sides.

Next, add pages to the hinges, You will need twelve pages adding glue just to the edges creating a pocket sandwiching the pages between the hinges.

Let’s embellish, you need all the bitty, tiny embellishments throughout the collection, Puffy Stickers, tags from the 6” X6” paper pad, Mini Icon Stickers, sprinkles, and Odds & Ends!

Let us know what you think of my beautiful, colorful casita! We can’t wait to see what you make using the Doodle Cuts! Just another way of using it instead of doing cards! Love Conny! See you soon!

HELLO AGAIN POP UP CARDS | with Kathy

Hello friends!  It's good to be back after a short break, and how lucky am I to come back to the Hello Again Collection??  I love all the fun flowers, butterflies, the bright colors... everything!  I decided to make some fun pop up cards using the new coordinating Butterfly Wishes and Home Sweet Home Doodle Cuts.  Take a peek!

My first card was so fun to put together. All of the dies are from the Butterfly Wishes Doodle Cuts.  I cut the butterflies and flowers from a combination of the Hello Again 6x6 pad and some of the new Candy Stripe-Sprinkles and Plaid-Polka Dot Petite Prints.  To add a bit of shine, I also cut the gold envelope that is part of the coordinating cards and envelope set.

To make my butterflies seem like they are flying, I glued pieces of acetate to my base, and then added the butterflies to the acetate.  I love how it looks like they are floating!  The sentiment was cut using the Thanks Die included in the Butterfly Wishes set.

My next card was made using the Home Sweet Home Doodle Cuts Set.  My nephew just purchased his first home and I can't wait to give them this fun card!  I added some flowers from the Hello Love Shaped Sprinkles to the window boxes and to the base of the card.  My sentiment is from the This and That Sticker Sheet.

Again, I used the vellum trick to make the heart "puffs" seem to rise from the chimney, and also to add the sun and clouds to the sky.

These cards were so fun to put together!  Have you created any projects with the Hello Again Collection or the coordinating Doodle Cuts?  Be sure to tag Doodlebug Design on Socials, we always love to see your creations!  That's it for me today, thank you for stopping by to peek!
