MIX 'N' MATCH MINI ALBUM | with Traci

I love making handmade gifts that come together quickly and are fun to put together. Today, I'm sharing a sweet mini album that I created for a friend.  Let's see how many Doodlebug collections I used in this little book!
For the cover, I used the adorable gingham check paper and bird die cut from Simply Spring. The "Friend" title and heart banner are from the Hello collection, and the sun die cut came from the I💗Travel line.
How cute is that little butterfly?  He was part of the Spring Things Odds & Ends. I think that's 4 collections so far!
Ready?  That precious yellow heart paper is from So Punny, and what project would be complete without some floral Petite Prints!  We're up to 6!
The cute little "Hello Lady" card and "Bloomin' Bugs" paper were also from the Simply Spring line.
See the floral paper on the pocket?  That one's from Bunnyville!
And finally, the jellybean plaid above is from Hoppy Easter! I used 8 different collections in this little mini!  That's one of my favorite things about Doodlebug ... my older collections will always match the new ones.  Well, that and sprinkles, of course!
If you'd like to make this cute little album, I'll have a few kits available for purchase in my Artsy Albums shop today.  Thanks for letting me share it with you!  I hope I've inspired you to use all of your Doodlebug collections together!

I❤️ TRAVEL SCRAPBOOK LAYOUT | with Tegan

If you are like me, you have lots of travel pictures to document.  And what better way to document all of these pics than with the I Heart Travel collection! The bright colors are so fun and all of the graphics are just beyond adorable. I Heart Travel, of course, was a great match for my photo from a recent trip to Hollywood Studios in Orlando, Florida!

I used the star from the Doodlebug Design Lots O' Luck Lucky Shapes cut file to create a square star design in my die cut machine software. I backed the white cardstock star background with the more solids patterned papers from the I Heart Travel collection and the Petite Prints collection because I wanted the colors to pop. I used the Skinny Alphabet letter stickers in Ladybug and a Chit Chat Ephemera word to complete the title.

I love how the colorful square I made using the Gingham Washi Tape Assortment turned out!  I then used Icons Stickers, Mini Icons Stickers, and This & That Stickers to embellish my page.  And the adorable Going Places Washi Tape adds perfect little accents!

I just love creating rainbow cut out designs on my layouts!

I ❤️ Travel Happy Mail + Video | with Nathalie

Hello I am back today to share another example of happy mail that could brighten someone's day. I grabbed the awesome I❤️Travel collection because I wanted to place all my goodies into a suitcase and develop my inserts on that theme.
I first created the suitcase itself by following this tutorial on You Tube, with a few variations (like the buckles that I hand cut). But the most fun was making the goodies that I was sending in it including the smallest pocket letter ever!
I started with a little booklet in which I put the cut apart postcards from the 12x12 Wish You Were Here paper. I also hand cut and strung several mini banners placing them into a small package I made for them. Finally, my favorite, I created a miniature pocket letter that fits perfectly into the suitcase.
It barely measures 3x4 inches and I will show you how you can create one too.
You will need a pocket page protector with a 3x4 pocket that you can cut. I had a leftover piece that worked perfectly. You can then cut little "cards" measuring 3/4"x1 1/8"to place in it. The next step is to design your pocket letter, first on top on the pocket, so you will know what will go inside and what will be adhered on top.
I used a mix of Mini Icons stickers, Doodle pop, Sprinkles, paper, twine and sequins. You first have to start with the bottom row which you will seal with a fuse tool. If you do not have one, you can also use a sewing machine.
The next step is to fuse the vertical lines before doing the last horizontal one. Spread things evenly before sealing and be careful not to shift things too much as you do.
To finish, decorate the top of the tiny pockets. You can add a little twine tassel if you'd like.
Isn't this the tiniest pocket letter you have ever seen?
Here is a short "unboxing" video:

I ❤️ TRAVEL MINI ALBUM | with Maryám

I don't travel very often but when I do I make sure to document it! Last year, I got a chance to attend the Creativation 2019 show held in Phonix Arizona and it was so much fun. Since this was my very first time visiting the United States and because I had taken a lot of photos during the trip, I decided to create a mini album.
To create this mini album I used the I ♥ Travel collection as well as some Doodlebug basics, like some Petite Prints and alphabet stickers, which coordinate perfectly with everything.

For the cover of the album, I used chipboard and covered it up with the 12 x 12 Floral and Graph Petite Prints in Kraft color, and on the inside, I used Gingham and Linen Petite Prints in Pistachio color.

To embellish the spine, I added some cute little Boutique Buttons and put them through the binding thread with the help of a needle.

Now, let's take a look at the inside.

Since it is a big mini album with lots of pages in it, I decided to film a flip through video so you can see every one of the pages in more depth and detail.

You can check out the video here or watch it in HD on my YouTube channel.

That's it for today! I hope you guys enjoyed this post and liked the ideas I shared. Also, don’t forget that if you have any questions just leave me a comment or send me an email. I’ll be happy to help you.
Have an awesome day!

I ❤️ TRAVEL LAYOUT | with Tegan

I have always loved postage stamps! And so I couldn't wait to do something cool with the I Heart Travel collection postage stamp patterned paper called Scenic Spot. Come take a look!

I started by using the Sunshine Cardstock for the border and the red on red I Heart Travel Love This Patterned Paper for my background. I then cut apart a number of the postage stamp images from the Scenic Spot Patterned Paper and started building a block design. I added some fun Mini Icons Stickers and ephemera pieces with foam adhesive too!

I embellished the top of my photo with an ephemera cloud diecut, an Icons Sticker airplane, and a couple adorable cloud Hello Sunshine epoxy stickers. I added Teensy Type alphabet numbers in Ladybug to the 'Vacation To Remember' This & That Sticker. I created my title with a Chit Chat Ephemera Piece and Beetle Black Abigail Alphabet Stickers. And the Mini Icons Stickers make cute little accent pieces!

I purposely didn't add patterned papers on this layout because I wanted the postage stamp design to take center stage. All of the stamps are just so darn cute! I don't know if I can pick a favorite one, can you?

Thank you for joining me today! I hope I have inspired you to use the I Heart Travel collection and Scenic Spot Patterned Paper on your next layout!

I❤️TRAVEL CUT FILES CARD | with Kathy

The I ❤️ Travel Cut Files are now available in the Lori Whitlock SVG Shop!  As soon as I saw the Cell Phone File, I knew I had to make a card with it!  It's just too cute!  I decided to make a shaped card with a sweet sentiment...take a peek...

I pieced it together using papers from the I ❤️ Travel, Dot Stripe Petite Prints and Floral Graph Petite Prints Collections.  The speech bubble with my sentiment is from the Booville Cut Files Collection.  To complete the card I added a Sprinkle for the home button and a heart sprinkle from the My Happy Place Shape Sprinkles.  This would be the perfect card for a good friend, or even as a thank you note!
That's it for me today, thanks for stopping by to peek!
