Hold on to your hats... I have some exciting news... the new I❤️Travel cut files are coming this week!!  I was so excited to get a sneak peek and decided to celebrate by using one of the files for my project today!

I made a little box card featuring the I ❤️ Travel Camera File.  I added a shaker to the lens piece and filled it with some seed beads.  I finished the card with some glitter sprinkles and a sentiment from the I ❤️ Travel Chit Chat Pieces!

I Heart Travel Cards | with Tya

To me, cards are so fun to make! I don't know if it is their small size or the chance that it gives me to play with lots of embellishments or something else - but I heart making cards almost as much as I heart the "I Heart Travel" collection!

 The Cards and Envelope kits that come prepackaged with every collection are so wonderful! It makes creating cards so quick and easy because all the card bases are already cut out for you - you just need to decorate them - and let's be truthful - that is the most fun part of making cards!

I used the products shown below plus a few more to decorate my cards. I used the 6x6 paper pad, The Odds and Ends and Chit Chat Ephemera, the This and That Sticker Sheet, Shape and Regular sprinkles as well as some Doodlepops and a few other fun elements to make the 6 cards below:

Aren't these so fun! The colors and icons in this collection are some of my favorites and these cards would be great for someone going on a trip, to give some cash or a gift card, or even to say "Bon Voyage" - there are so many great options to make oodles of cards just like these. I ❤️TRAVEL STAMPED CARDS | with Kathy

I love that the new I ❤️ Travel Collection has images and papers that can be used for a number of different themes!  Everything from "just because" to travel, to moving day!  I especially loved the images on the new I ❤️Travel Stamps and decided to make a couple of cards featuring these adorable icons!  Take a peek...

Our neighborhood is in the process of "turning over."  Lot's of new families moving in, and I thought the little phone GPS icon was the perfect image for a Welcome to the Neighborhood card!

I colored and cut the image, then mounted it on a piece of white cardstock with the sentiment.  I double layered it onto the paper with the adorable little geo-tags and finished it off with a white sprinkle. 

I also made a cute little "we're moving" card using the stacked suitcases...

That little round suitcase just makes me smile.  Similar to the card above, I added the stamped/cut image to white cardstock and then double mounted it onto the World Traveler paper.

I❤️TRAVEL SHADOWBOX CARD | with Kathy

I am so excited to be kicking off a couple of weeks of the fun new I ❤️Travel Collection!  I've been waiting for Doodlebug to create a travel collection and this one does not disappoint!  My box came last week and I immediately dug in and have a lot of projects started!  For my first project, I created a fun shadowbox card... take a peek...

I love the little smiley faces on the sun and hot air balloon and thought they would make a cute card!  I used elements from the Chit Chat, Odds & Ends and Icon Stickers to make my little scene.  Oh and how could I forget, one of the cute little clouds from the Hello Sunshine Shaped Sprinkles.  

The card stands up on it's own, so it can easily be displayed.  I embellished the outside of the card with some of the new papers in the collection.  Here's a close-up of the inside...
