Happy Camper: Double the Fun with Two Awesome Layouts

Gone Camping Layout
by Jodi Wilton

Hi everyone! Jodi here today to share with a new layout I created using the most adorable collection- HAPPY CAMPER! We are big campers in my house, and I can see me using every last scrap of this collection, as it is so cute, and perfect for any outdoor or nature photos!  Here is the layout I created:

I fell in love the campground piece of patterned paper, and wanted to make sure that I incorporated it into my layout! I added a 3 X 12 inch piece at the bottom and I also added a 3 X 12 inch piece of the bear necessities piece of patterned paper at the top. In the middle of the layout I added a 6 X 12 piece of happy camper piece of patterned paper.  These three pieces were the base of my layout.  I then started to add the embellishments and photos. I added a limeade doily and layered on top some stickers from the Icon Sticker sheet... I LOVE all the critters on this sheet!

I then used four of the fancy frills stickers from this collection to add some interest to the top and bottom of the layout. Finally I added a few extra touches from the This & That Sticker Sheet.

Hope you enjoyed my Happy Camper Project today!

Happy Fishin' Layout
by Shellye McDaniel

Hello, everyone!  Shellye here today with a "Happy Campers" Layout.
I was so happy that my guys returned home from their annual fishing trip with some really great photos...I think I've gotten almost every single one on a scrapbook page all ready :)

One thing that I love about being on the water is seeing the reflection of the trees, mountains, etc. in it!  I had two chipboard trees on hand, so I dressed those up in patterned paper and used them as an accent similar to a reflection upon the water.

The top tree was a great space for journaling.

I used two of the new Mini Clothespins at the top of the photo strip so that it appears that the pictures are hanging.

I cut the "Happy Camper" Sticker in half and completed the title of my layout with
the new Chippers adhesive alphabet stickers!

"Happy Campers" can be used for any of your camping, hiking, fishing, hunting and
even smores-making photos!  You will love all of the cute critters and fun nostalgic icons like the vintage RV and cozy campfires :)

Thanks for letting me share with you today!

Hip Hip Hooray: Three Layouts to Celebrate

by Jodi Wilton

Hi everyone! Jodi here today to share with you a layout I created using the new Hip Hip Hooray Collection! As soon as I saw the cute little monsters & robots, I knew I was going to have to dig up my son's 2 year old birthday party pictures! Once I saw the colors, I knew it would be perfect to showcase his party!

I had quite a few photos to work with, but I didn't want to give up any on the layout, so I decided to use all five in a grid like fashion.  I then added blocks of patterned paper, and built on each block with a journaling space, embellishments, and the title.

For the title, I used the word "birthday" from the icon cardstock stickers. I absolutely LOVED the font with the shadow effect, so I decided to create the second word of my title with a similar effect using the Tangerine Simply Sweet Cardstock Sticker on top, with the shadow bieng the Lily White Simply Sweet Cardstock Sticker! It is so easy to create this effect when Doodlebug has so many different colors in the same font. I also added some cute stickers to replace the O in boy, and added a small star sticker to dot the I (and extra cute title effect, don't you thing?)

My favorite part of the layout was working with the cute little monsters! They are just so adorable!I added the two already holding the balloons, and then added a third monster carrying two balloons, by using some doodlebug twine.

I simply LOVE the journaling stickers on the this & that sticker sheet! The spacing between the lines is perfect, and allows enough room to tell a story! I layered some more sticker on top too for some extra fun!

Finally for the last spot on my layout I added a large circle sticker from the this & that sticker sheet; but I wanted the sticker to be more dimensional so I popped it up with foam tape and added another popped up cake that fit perfectly on top. Along each side of my layout I also used the garland (yep a favorite of mine with this release!)

So I hope you enjoyed my walk-through of my creative process when creating this birthday layout! You will simple LOVE this line for all your birthday projects!

by Kathy Skou

Hi Everyone...Kathy here today to showcase a couple of fun layouts I created using the Hip Hip Hooray Collection.  I absolutely love this collection.  The colors are so cheery and those little monsters just captured my heart!  My problem ... I don't have any little guys in my life!  Besides my sweet husband...we are a household full of girls!  Lucky for me, Hip Hip Hooray is a very versatile collection.  I was easily able to come up with two layouts featuring a "different" side of this line.

My first layout showcases my husband and his "toy."  He always wanted a vintage Mustang, so last year he bought this beauty!

The coordinating washi, the papers and even many of the stickers can be used for more than birthday themed layouts.

The Life is Good was cut from one of the Simply Put cards
I created my title using a mix of different Doodlebug Alphas from the Teensy Type sheets.
My second layout features my two "not so little" monsters...Daisy and Rosie.

As I said...those little monsters from the Monsters- Icon Mini stickers are just too cute!  (Kind of like my kitties!)  I decided to showcase them as little "stamps."

Again...one of my favorite techniques, mixing and matching alphas for titles!
That's it for me today, thanks for stopping by!
