LOVE NOTES VALENTINE'S PLANNER SET UP | with Jomelle

Who remember making a mixtape? I remember it very well. When I first saw the "Love Notes" Collection, I was drawn to the cute little cassette tapes right away. It reminded me of my high school days. I grew up listening to the radio and trying to record the song that was playing in my cassette tape. You have to remember that I was in high school and recording songs in my cassette is a lot cheaper than buying an album.
I had so many emotions going through my mind while creating my Valentine's Planner Set Up. I was also reminiscing so many memories. I chose the 12x12 cardstock with the colorful mini hearts. I then added washi tapes on the top and bottom border.
I played around with the odds & ends since you have so many to choose from. I knew from the start that I wanted to use the cassette tapes doodle pops and the rest just came into place.
I folded the hearts to give it that 3D effect. I also added hearts and music notes sprinkles. There's no right or wrong way to decorate your front page, just have fun with it.
I stuffed my planner pockets with more odds & ends, playing with the pieces until I found the ones I want to use. I hope you can see the "our Song" is the main focal point, which goes very well with the theme I was aiming for.
Here is my "before the pen" weekly layout. I haven't decided if I want to use it for memory keeping or to write love letters to my husband every day for the month of February. I think love letters is very romantic and very sweet.
You can see that I placed more cassette tapes and music notes stickers throughout my layout.
I used the pink bubblegum teensy type stickers to add the days.
Thank you for stopping by. Stay tune to my next blog to find out what I have decided to use my weeks for the month of February.

WINTER WONDERLAND MINI NOTES | with Jomelle

"Let it snow. Let is snow" I used to not like it whenever it snow when we lived in the Midwest. Snow means shoveling your driveway, scraping your windshield before driving, warming up the car 30 minutes before leaving and the worst part is the very slippery road. I cannot believe I live there for 14 years before finally moving to Southern California.

To be honest I kinda miss the snow. I only miss how beautiful it is when it's snowing. This collection makes me think of the winter and it also reminds me of the movie "Frozen" My daughter loves Elsa and Ana.
I want to share with you the mini notebook created. I love making micro notes but it may too small for some people. So I created a mini version. This Mini Notes is about 4.5in by 7in. I used my Mini Happy Planner as a guide. There's plenty of room to add embellishments and photos. I plan to use this notebook to document my daughter's Love for the movie "Frozen" It will be all about Elsa and Ana.
I used my iridescent acetate from my stash to layer on top of the snow cardstock paper. I love the holo effect. Then I added stickers, polar bear doodle pop and odds & ends to decorate the front page. I used my punch board to add holes to the side then I used blue and purple mini rings that I bought from Joann's.
I used buffalo snow blanket in my Christmas tree this year, so I figure why not use it to decorate my notebook? I love the faux snow effect on the bottom of the page.
How adorable are these snowmen paper clips. Also, I spy "Sven" doodle pops which I plan to use later on.
Thank you for stopping by and I hope you like my mini notes I created.

CHRISTMAS MAGIC MICRO NOTES | with Jomelle

I can't seem to stay away from Micro Notes. You can't go wrong with anything mini. They are just so adorable. Mini Notes are also perfect for gifts this coming Holiday. I'm sure whoever receives this kind of present will be thrilled.
Micro Notes can be use for anything you want. It can be used for memory keeping, journal, diary, December Daily, jotting notes or even grocery shopping list. The Micro Notes is so small that it can be your every day carry and easy to put inside your purse.
I started to fill my Micro Notes with embellishments and decorations. I can add photos, journals and memorabilia later on.
I am obsessed with the tags that I cut out from the 12x12 card stock. They are so fun and so easy to use. I added twines and just stick them inside for journal in the back side of it.
I created this flip page to add dimension to my notes. I added holes so that it can be folded and have it close. All I did to create this was I cut out the card stock which is double the size of the micro insert so that it can be folded in half.
More pages with tags on one side.
I used this adhesive square label pockets that I bought from Target Dollar Spot. I cut it in half and added them to my Micro Notes to hold the tags.
I just love how the back side of these tags have plenty of room for photos and or journal. I'm going to need to stock up on these adhesive labels because they can be used on any memory keeping albums.

I can't wait to make this super chunky by adding more pages, photos, and journals. Thank you for stopping by and I hope you were inspired to create one.

CHRISTMAS MAGIC PLANNER PAGES | with Jomelle

Have you been naughty or nice? I can honestly say that I have been good most of the time this year.
I would like to share my planner set up in my Bubblegum Daily Doodles Travel Planner with the Christmas Magic Collection.
I just love looking at the side view of my TN. I love all the layering and all the embellishments that makes my TN complete.
 "Pocket Love"
I added the twines to hold the ornaments pieces which gives it that 3D look. I also scattered some adhesive enamel dots sprinkles.
Dear Santa....I have been good most of the year. It's the time of the year where kids enjoy writing letters to Santa and making their list. The gifts aren't the most important thing about it but the joy and the excitement when creating a wish list. It's also the surprise of whether my kids will be receiving what's on their wish list.
Last year, I created a fun way to keep my kid's wish list in my TN. I decided to create another one this year. I started of by cutting different 12x12 papers in the size of the insert. I also picked papers from the 6x6 pad that I just folded in half and stuck in between each papers.
I cut the 12x12 double sided paper with a bunch of tags so my kids can write their wish list in the back. I punch a hole and added the pink twine so that they can be easily pulled out.
I decorated each page with odds & ends, stickers and washi tape. I also used some square adhesive label pockets to hold the tags where my kids wrote their wish list.
You know me, I love layers and layers. I just started layering papers, tags and stickers to decorate each pages.
There are also plenty of space in my pages to add pictures and journal entry later on.
Wouldn't it fun to go back through the years when your kids are older to show them their wish list while growing up? It also shows what kind of toys are popular during the time they created their list.
What's on your wish list this year? Will you be creating one this year? Thank you for stopping by and I hope I was able to inspire you. See you next time.

CHRISTMAS MAGIC HOME DECOR | with Jomelle

The cutest little elves I have ever seen has taken over and melted my heart. I've created a little something that is not planner related at all. I am a scrapbooker at heart and I wanted to create something that I can use as a decor for my home.
I have not decorated a shadow box in a long time. I really fell in love with all the elves that I wanted them to be the center of attention.
I've picked out the elves from the odds & ends and I arranged them how I like inside these boxes. I used foam adhesive for all of them so that they pop out and has that 3D look.
The Christmas Magic Collection came with the cutest elves paper clips that I just kinda tucked them behind the shadow box because I just think they look really adorable the way they are peeking from the top.

I try to use a simple paper for the background for each elves so they are not overwhelming and not too busy to look at. But with all the cute papers Doodlebug has, you can never go wrong with any combinations.
It's sad to say that I can no longer find these shadow boxes at Michael's or Hobby Lobby. I only have a few left from my stash. I am most likely going to use the rest of my shadow boxes with anything Doodlebug related since they are all so adorable and they are the perfect pair.
Thank you for stopping by and I hope you were inspire with my home decor shadow box.

CANDY CARNIVAL DAILY DOODLES | with Jomelle

BOO! We are halfway through October and I want to share my Daily Doodles TN Planner Set Up using the Candy Carnival Collection.
Since this collection is all about Carnival, I wanted to create my own Halloween Carnival theme for my front dashboard/insert cover. As you may know, I like to layer my embellishments so you can see here how I layered them. I also added the spider web from the own stash.
I can't get enough of this side view. I am totally loving the sticker tabs and cute paper clips sticking out to the side.
The broom pen is perfect for this set up.
Looking at all the Halloween colors and beautiful embellishments makes me so happy.

Month of October layout. I used washi, stickers and black teensy type Alphabet stickers.
My daughter loves Halloween and I cannot wait to take her Trick or Treating in her cute Halloween outfit.

Setting my Daily Doodles with Halloween theme just made my day. I love everything about Halloween. Thank you for stopping by.
