LET IT SNOW TRAVELER'S NOTEBOOK PAGES | with Nathalie

One of my favorite ways to document my everyday moments are small format pocket pages.  I keep Traveler Notebook albums filled with memories of the small things.   This format allows me to document my memories in style; so, I reached for Let it Now to document the latest Snow-mageddon here in Toronto.

I started by enlarging one of the photos to 5x8.25( the size of the pages), and matching it with an instax size pocket protector.   Chit Chat pieces make perfect titles, all you need is a bit of foam adhesive to make them pop from the page.

The tags in the Bits and Pieces pack fit perfectly in the pockets, so I am using one to add my journaling.  The small print in the 6x6 paper pad is perfect to create cards for the pockets.  Once again, I reached for some foam adhesive to add my embellishments outside of the pocket.

Since our snow storm was immense, I had to use the back of this spread to share the  aftermath of the 45cm of snow.

I tried to follow the same recipe as the previous page, and added some of the embellishments outside of the pocket. I love adding tactile elements to my spreads.

This time I am using patterned paper for the base of my layout ( I am using the stripe design in the tag to have a cohesive spread), and a smaller photo.  I am using the same paper as the small card to back my photo, then once again using one of the Bits and Pieces labels to add my journal lines.

A few more embellishments just complement the story.   Simple, easy, but filled with Doodlebug cuteness!! I hope this inspires you to use your Doodlebug goodies to document your stories regardless of the format.   XO

LET IT SNOW MINI ALBUM | with Traci

Happy Thursday friends!  Although it's only snowed here in Georgia once this winter, I know some of you are knee deep (or more!) in the powdery stuff.  So if you have some winter memories to document, I have a simple, but fun little mini album to share with you today!

I love the round shape and cute little size (4.5"x4.5") of this mini.  I used a cutting file from Doodlebug's Let It Snow collection that you can find here, and although I used white acrylic for my covers, you could easily use white card stock.

I covered each card stock page with adorable patterns from Let It Snow, left some pages for photos, and embellished others ... like the cute little 3.5" scallop circle above.  The journaling spots were cut from the 6x6 paper pad.  That little waving snowperson from the icon stickers is SO cute!

And speaking of cute, those little penguins might be my all-time favorite with their little round heads that are so much bigger than their equally cute little bodies.

Two photos can be added inside this little flippie, and I love the unexpected black and white stripe pattern in the collection!  A perfect contrast with the other colors and prints!

I think a picture will look so cute on that petite print gingham mat.  Hello little walrus ... you're pretty cute too!

For this page, I made a little pocket to tuck in a few Bits & Pieces tags.  I tied double twine bows on each, and think they will be perfect for small photos and journaling.

I wonder how many times I used the word 'cute' in this post .... hmmmmm, a lot!  But how can a Doodlebug project not be described as cute?  Impossible! Lol.  Well, I hope I've inspired you with some cuteness today!  And remember, lots of cutting files would look adorable cut into the center of a circle, so have fun thinking "outside of the box" and make your next mini a round one!

LET IT SNOW CHRISTMAS HOUSE | with Miguel

I love little Christmas Villages, so today I made a fun project using the Let it Snow collection and files from Lori Whitlock.

One of my favorite Doodlebug products is undoubtedly the Icon Stickers. I can decorate any project and the result will always be fantastic, the shine they give to the project is unmatched, look how beautiful everything looks.

I also love all of the Doodle pops, these amazing 3D stickers add such fun and dimension!  See how cute Santa looks coming to give gifts with his friend the reindeer. HAHAHA!

And of course you could not miss the Santa sleigh which I added gift boxes with beautiful bows of ribbon and twine.

I hope that my project today inspires you to continue creating.  Thank you for reading and see you soon.

LET IT SNOW WINTER LAYOUT | with Nathalie

Winter is here! And if you are in the northern hemisphere that means we are enjoying frigid temperatures and lots of the white fluffy snow. Living in Canada gives you an appreciation for all the seasons, especially the winter months! You learn to enjoy the snow and the time outdoors, so many memories made in the snow. So, I am using the super fun Let It Snow to document my littles (niece and nephew) during a snow day!
I started by hand stitching a few simple snowflakes to the b side of the Frosty Floral paper.   I wanted to bring the feel of falling snow to the page.  So, once I finished stitching, I splattered white ink on the page.

I added a few sprinkles to the center of each of the  hand stitched snowflake. The small pops of color bring the snowflakes to life!

I wanted to create a winter scene at the bottom of the page.  For this, I ripped a piece of the North Pole paper and set it at the bottom of the page. I then used the natural line of  the paper to set the pictures on the page.  I added a few Bits and Pieces  to the corners of the pictures just to enhance the sentiment of the layout.

I used pieces from the Odds and Ends, and Chit Chat to add more embellishments to the page.  All those fun phrases are perfect to create a title for the page. Just a few extra stickers, doodle pop pieces and extra sprinkles complete the page.

Love how this turned out.  Those snowmen are perfect in this page.  Remember to check the Let It Snow collection, you are going to love it!  XO

LET IT SNOW MILK CARTON GIFT BOX | with Ashley

Hi All! Today I am sharing a winter gift wrapping idea using the adorable Let it Snow collection. I decided to make a little milk carton box.

I started with plain bubblegum cardstock for the milk carton box and measured to have a base of 3 x 3". I used one of the patterned papers from the Let it Snow collection to line all the sides and add some bright color.

From there, I started with embellishing. I popped up the house cardstock sticker on a couple pieces of foam tape so it really stands out and added some other elements from the Chit Chat and Odds & Ends pack around.

To finish the box, I added some of the Christmas Assortment Jewels and a mini clothespin and bow.

Hope you liked seeing some details of this project. Happy Crafting!

LET IT SNOW ARCTIC FRIEND BOX CARDS | with Kathy

Winter is here in the Northeast!  I have a couple of friends celebrating birthdays this month, so I thought I'd use the Let it Snow Collection along with the Arctic Friends Doodle Stamps to make some fun box cards!

I love making dimensional scenes in my box cards.  For my first card, I created the card base using dies from my stash.  I then added adorable little polar bear from the Arctic Friends Doodle Stamps, a few trees from the Winter Wonderland Doodle Stamps and the mountains from the Great Outdoors Set.  The sentiment is from the Arctic Friends set, and is perfect for my friend's birthday!

For my next card, I stamped and colored the cute little sea creatures in the Arctic Friends Set.  They are all so cute, but I do think that little Narwhal is my favorite!  I added them to some snow mounds and waves along with the fishies!

These stamps are just perfect for winter cardmaking, and I love that the Let it Snow Collection can be used for more than just the holidays!  Have you made any projects using the Let it Snow Collection, or the new Arctic Friends Stamps?  Be sure to tag Doodlebug Design on Facebook and Instagram, we always love to see what you create!  That's it for me today, thanks for stopping by to peek!

LET IT SNOW BIRTHDAY CARDS | with Karen

Every year after Christmas, it has become a tradition for me to sit down and use my latest Christmas collection to try to create some winter themed birthday cards. Doodlebug always creates such a wonderful Christmas collection that it is hard for me to put it away. On top of that, the collections are usually so versatile that it is easy to use them in different ways. And with a slew of birthdays in the winter in our family, it has become a useful and fun annual challenge. All-3-Start

I had eagerly been waiting to use the Arctic Friends stamps for this project. This set is full of fun critters that can be used in all sorts of fun ways. With coordinating Doodlecuts, you can stamp and cut in no time at all!

Red-Card

The Let It Snow Bits and Pieces create the perfect layering pieces to add dimension to your cards. They come in all sorts of fun shapes like tags and little sheets of paper, so layering them up on your cards is fun and easy. And they happen to be the perfect size for the stamps too!

Blue-Card

The sentiments that you will find in this stamp set are perfect for winter greeting cards too - no Christmas themed sentiments here! Just fun little puns that you can use for birthdays or other fun greetings.

Green-Card

Top your cards with some pretty mini jewels and/or some mini paper clips and you have a fun layered nd textured card that is as fun to look at as it is to receive.

All-3-end

To be honest, I actually can't wait to make more of these cards. In fact, I think even our family summer babies might be getting ones from this collection too! I hope they made you smile.

Thanks for stopping by!
Hugs,

LET IT SNOW WINTER TREAT BAGS | with Wanda

Hi friends! Happy New Year! I hope 2022 brings you lots of happiness, fun and of course, crafty good times! I'm here today to share a Winter themed project I made with the Let It Snow Collection! This collection is so versatile...you can pick and choose so many different elements and themes from it. Today's projects feature the adorable snow people found in the collection. Snow people are great for both Christmas and Winter in general. I made some treat favors and a mini card. This would be a great suite of things for a party. You could use any wonderful Doodlebug Collection to tailor it to your occasion. I do love an aqua/pink/red color combination too!

I used some cello bags and filled them with Sixlets in the prettiest shade of aqua to look like snowballs! I added my topper and used the Let It Snow collection along with Chunky Twine and Mini Doilies. So easy and fun to make these treats. The staples that hold the topper in place are covered with the pretty patterned papers.

I die cut and decorated a couple of treat bags! I do love these red and white stripes!! I added Doodle Cuts Mini Tags, some tiny clothespins and also some more twine to add embellishment.
