Hi Doodlebug fans! Aimee here today with a project to share a little love with your little ones! I am all the time writing little notes to my daughter and sticking them in her lunchbox so she'll know I'm thinking about her while she's away at school. Usually I am writing those notes on her napkin but I thought I would step up my game and create some adorable note cards using a lot of the basic Doodlebug supplies. I know they will put a smile on her face the same way Doodlebug puts a smile on my face!
To get started, I pulled out a bunch of coordinating Petite Prints, Sugar Coated cardstock, Doodle Pops, Washi Tape, buttons, and brads.
Step 1: Cut your papers to 3 1/2" x 7" and fold in half to create the base card.
Step 2: Cut out a few 3" squares of white cardstock and start using all of the delicious washi tapes for borders or corners.
Step 3: Adhere your decorated piece of white cardstock to the base card.
Step 4: Start decorating!!
For this little note card, I applied washi tape pieces to create diagonal stripes.
And used a paper piercer to punch holes so I could cluster up some of the pretty little flower brads.
Here are some close ups of all the sweet little note cards I made....
Even though I created these sweet little note cards to put in my daughter's lunch box, I know they would also be perfect to have on hand to use as little Thank You notes to anyone!
