These mini paper cornucopias would make a fun appetizer and/or place holder at your Thanksgiving table, or just make them to serve up a healthy snack.
All you need to make the cornucopias is some paper and adhesive. Here is how to do it:
1. Cut a 11.5" circle into quarters. Snip a narrow wedge off of one side near the top. This makes it easier to roll the cone to a fine point.
2-3. Apply adhesive to the straight edge and roll into a cone shape.
4-5. Flatten the narrow half of the cone. Curl the end around a wide marker.
6. Punch holes around the open end of the cornucopia, spacing them about 1/4" apart.
7. Thread ribbon around top of cornucopia using a simple back-stitch.
8. Line the cornucopia with a piece of food-safe paper (parchment, wax, etc.).
Embellish the cornucopia as desired and stuff with delicious veggies! The basket weave print from Happy Harvest adds an authentic touch to the cornucopias.
These little cuties are bound to be a hit with kids or Thanksgiving guests. The pixies straws make perfect flag holders!
