HOMETOWN USA JULY 4th LAYOUT | with Brianna

Hey friends! Brianna Lepper here today and I get to share a new layout with y'all today using the new Hometown USA collection. Our veterinary office had setup a little 4th of July display to take photos in front of and we couldn't resist a little photoshoot with our dog Cubby. These were perfect for this collection, especially since there's a dog (and cat!) featured throughout the embellishments. Here's my page:

When I first got the collection, I went through it to see what immediately inspired me. It's always different each time and for this round, I was drawn to the coordinating Texture Cardstock pack. I pulled the white, blue and red out and thought it would be nice to create some mattes using each one. I trimmed the blue to an 11x11 and then the white to a 10x10. I distressed the edges and adhered both down to the red. This created a nice bold foundation for the rest of my layout.

For some extra color and a bit of mixed media, I added in some ink blending using the Lumberjack Plaid and Prize Ribbon Distress Oxide inks. I then trimmed down a few strips of the Picnic Plaid and All Stars 12x12 Patterned Paper. I used both of the A and B sides of the All Stars paper. I distressed the edges and adhered the layers right in the center of my page.

For my title, I used a few pieces from the Chit Chat Pack and popped them up on foam tape. I then pulled out the Patriotic Puppy Doodle-Pop and adhered it right next to it. It's so cute!!!

I put my photos right in the middle of the page on top of the patterned papers and then embellished around it in a diagonal line. Next, I pulled out the fireworks circle pieces from the Chit Chat Pack and adhered them along that same line. I also pulled out a few elements from the Bits & Pieces Pack as well as a few of the Cardstock Icons Stickers and adhered those down. That truck pulling the kids? Adorable!!!

For some finishing touches, I sprinkled in a few of the Puffy Icons stickers and some of the Star Spangled Shape Sprinkles. This page makes me so happy!

Here's one last look at this super patriotic page featuring my adorable puppy dog!

Thank you so much for stopping by today, I hope that I've inspired you in some way. I'll see you in my next post friends! xo Brianna

LOTS OF LOVE - LOVE YOU PET LAYOUT | with Nathalie

February is not over, so we keep celebrating love and all the lovable things in our lives. For me, it is probably my sweet baby boy, aka our 13yr old Boston Terrier. So, what better way than to use the fun Lots of Love collection for it.

I started with cutting two hearts from the patterned papers ( I drew a heart on copy paper, and used it as a template for the patterned paper hearts). I wanted contrasting, but simple designs so that they will stand out on the page.

I set them on an offset at the center of my base and then frame the entire page with a contrasting paper. I added a bit of foam adhesive behind the corners of the hearts to add dimension to the page. I added my photo next at the junction of the two hearts.

I am using all the flowers that I could find to embellish my layouts. The flower swag was just perfect for adding details to the edges of the hearts. I then added larger clusters of Bits and Pieces to the top of the hearts.

I added small phrase stickers to each of the clusters, and a few sprinkles to just complete the cluster. I then added a few extra embellishments to my photo. The cute stamp washi tape is amazing!!

To finish the page, I used Chit Chat pieces to create my title. I added a few extra stickers to make the title pop a little bit more, and completely balance my page.

I hope this gives you some inspiration for your next project with the beautiful LOTS OF LOVE collection. Cannot wait to see what you create! XO

SWEET & SPOOKY HALLOWEEN COSTUME LAYOUT | with Nathalie

We are so close to celebrating Halloween once again! I am sure that many of you are getting your costumes ready for the day, just like my cousin's doggie! Though, we bought the costume here in Canada, it had to travel all the way to Ecuador. As soon as I got the pictures of the fitting, I had this idea for a new project featuring the beautiful Sweet & Spooky collection.

The starting point for this page was the Taffy Stripe paper. I just saw the stripes as a fun way to create a banner for my page.

I cut 2 strips of 1.5in, then cut each color section out - the little pieces looked like small squares-. I then, used a pair of scissors to round one of the edges. Using a thin chopstick, I curled the straight edge of each paper, then using liquid glue attached the rolled edge to Beetle Chunky Doodle Twine. I alternated the a and b sides in the formation of the banner.

I glued the banners to the top lilac textured cardstock, making sure they draped from the top of the page. This paper was then framed with Candy Sticks paper.

I used stickers and Doodle Pops to add a bit of interest to the banners that were of a solid color. Once the banners were set on place, I added a few sprinkles for pops of shine throughout the banner.

I cut a few pieces of paper to create side banners at the bottom of the page. This was a perfect way to anchor my photos to the layout, plus provided space for my title work. and extra embellishments. I just love combining stickers, Doodle Pops, and Chit Chat for this.

A few extra stickers and gems complete the page. I hope this inspires you to get your Halloween memories documented with the Sweet & Spooky Collection, XO

PETITE PRINTS FUR BABY LAYOUT | with Brianna

Hey friends! Brianna Lepper back with you today sharing another layout featuring the new Plaid-Polka Dot and Candy Stripe-Sprinkles Rainbow Petite Prints. I've loved playing with these papers! They really get me thinking creatively! I also added in a few bits and pieces from the Doggone Cute collection and decided to use only blue and yellow tones for my whole page. I love how it turned out and hope that you like it too!

I have this super cute photo of my dog getting a bath in our laundry room sink and the second that I saw the Rub-A-Dub Doodle-Pop, I knew that I would make a layout with it. That's exactly what inspired me to use only blues and yellows for my page! So with that in mind, I pulled out the following colors from both the Plaid-Polka Dot and Candy Stripe-Sprinkles Petite Prints: Blue Jean, Lemon, Bumble Bee, Bubble Blue and Swimming Pool.

Next, I pulled out my paper punches in various sizes and punched out a bunch of circles. I cut into the smaller ones to give them some texture and interest. Then I layered them on the larger circles and popped each one on foam tape. To finish them off, I adhered a Lily White Sprinkle in the center of each one. Before gluing them down, I sprayed my background with some shimmer spray in blues and yellows. Just a little extra color for my circles to sit on!

Next, I matted my photo using the 6x6 Candy Stripe-Sprinkles Paper Pad and used a phrase from the Chit Chat pack for my title.

I started to embellish using a few pieces from the Odds and Ends pack and adhered those to my circles. Here's a closer look at that adorable Doodle-Pop that inspired the entire layout!

I embellished using a few of the Mini Icons and the Puffy Icons stickers. There are so many cute elements in this collection and I love that they match the Petite Prints papers so well! I also pulled out the Wash Wagon Doodle-Pop and used the cute doggie from it! He's brown and matches my dog, so it was perfect!

Here's one last look at this page! I added in some tangled thread to a few of the circles and then for some extra color, I added in a strip of the Blue Jean Plaid-Polka-Dot paper to the top and bottom of my page. I adhered it to the back of my page and then cut into the white cardstock to reveal the patterned paper behind it. So simple!

Thank you so much for stopping by today, I hope that I've inspired you in some way! Do you enjoy creating projects using certain colors? I really enjoyed challenging myself to use only blues and yellows. It was a lot of fun! See you next time friends!

DOGGONE CUTE PUPPY LOVE LAYOUT | with Tarrah

There is something about the Doggone Cute collection that makes creating a project so easy! It does help when you have cute, white, fluffy, puppy photos too!

I started this layout choosing a white cardstock background and trimmed it down to mat the playful plaid and puppy love papers behind the cardstock. I love how the papers 'frame' the page. I added the paw print washi tape along the bottom edge and one of the scalloped border this and that stickers to the top of the page.

I cut out a cut file title from white cardstock also and backed the open sections of the title with different papers from the 6' x 6' paper pad in the Doggone Cute collection. I adhered the cut file title using craft foam to create a shadow on my page. I then took the Puppy title and layered it on top of the cut file. So the title of my layout is 'Puppy Love'.

I adhered my 2 photos using craft foam above the titles and layered one of the tags from the bits and pieces pack underneath the photos to the right. I added some doodle twine to the tag for some texture on the layout. Above the photos I placed a tab sticker from the this and that sheet and to the left of the photos I placed a scalloped circle sticker also using craft foam. In the bottom right corner of the photo, I layered a fur babies shaped sprinkle over the top of a paw print die-cut and adhered these here. In the centre of the 'V' in the 'Love' word, I adhered a heart sticker.

Below the title, I adhered some banner die-cuts from the Chit Chat pieces, leaving the very centre without adhesive and leaving these raised up from the cardstock. I added the super cute Buddy Doodle-Pop to the centre of the paw in the title. I also adhered small heart die-cuts in each of the toes in the paw. Lastly I added some more shaped sprinkles and some more die-cuts including the really cute dog one over on the right of the title! I also added the dog tag and wrote Baxter's name on the tag! Finally I stamped the date stamp using some black ink.

I love how my layout turned out and as I mentioned earlier, it is so easy to create cute projects when you have such gorgeous products like the Doggone Cute collection to work with, happy creating!

DOGGONE CUTE FUR BABY LAYOUT | with Lisa

I love a good striped layout. Do you? I've made a ton of layouts with stripes and I really like the way they turn out. Here's a fun stripey layout, I created with the Doggone Cute collection.

The Speak! Double sided cardstock has Dog words and phrases in rainbow colors. I really wanted to cut this paper apart, creating a bunch of colorful stripes.  I cut 2 stripes of each color and then cut each of those into 2 pieces, creating stripes in different sizes.

I  placed the stripes one under the other, keeping the rainbow pattern.  I used 3 or 4 stripes of each color. I like placing the stripes in a random looking way,  some are shorter, some longer, some peek out from each side Even though there's no rhyme or reason to the placement, it still looks coherent and organized.

I matted the photo the puppy paws patterned paper to coordinate with the color of the dog in the photo. For my title, I deceided on a sentiment from the Chit Chat pack. I cut the white border a bit narrower and then adhered the pieces to a piece of the man's best friend paper. I cut them out and adhered them to the layout using foam tape.

I used the Good Boy Doodle Pop and adhered it under the photo and finished with dog shaped sprinkles.

To add a bit more color, I used some striped rainbow washi tape, placing pieces on top of the word stripes.  I love the effect it gave, adding more color but still showing the letters underneath. Super pretty! :)  To finish, I added puffy tennis balls, mini jewels and Sprinkles in coordinating colors.  I also added some paint splatters!  That's it friends, I hope you like the layout!  See you soon.

DOGGONE CUTE LIFE IS BETTER WITH A DOG LAYOUT | with Nathalie

I am loving the new Doggone Cute collection! I have years of memories of my little guy that are just waiting to be documented, and the collection is giving me reasons to relive them all again. Let me show you what I have created:

I always love playing with layers of paper to see what I can create, and I love how all these papers just worked so nicely together that made it so easy and quick to put this together.

I started by creating the chevron strips using a leftover piece of 12x12 paper and a 6x6 page. I added them to white cardstock, then trimmed the page to 11x11in and frame it with a contrasting patterned paper.

I then cut strips of paper and placed them as if they are coming from under the chevron line. I love the contrast on the patterns and colors. Once the paper strips were in place, I added my baby's pictures and all that was left to do is embellish!

The rainbow word paper gave me the idea to color block the embellishments. So, I added a few pieces at the top of the photos that had warm tones. There are so many cute embellishments that it was so easy to put it all together.

Then I used the cool tone color embellishments to add my title and embellish the lower part of the page. A few Sprinkles and it was ready to go in the baby's album.

I love how this turned out! I hope this inspires you to pull some of your pupper's pictures and get them documented with the new DOGGONE CUTE collection.  XO

DOGGONE CUTE YOU HAD ME AT WOOF | With Traci

Hey scrappers! Traci here and today, I have a 12x12 scrapbook page to share with of . It's a simple layout idea for saving 3 of your adorable dog's photos. I used the Doggone Cute Collection that's filled with bright happy colors and lots of fun pattern papers. Check it out ...

12x12 Doggone Cute Scrapbook Page by Artsy Albums

Doodlebug colors are amazing and I wanted to use a lot of these prints. So, I chose 7 and used smaller pieces of each. That way, it's not too busy and I got to use some leftover scraps from my dog album.

12x12 Doggone Cute Scrapbook Page made with scraps

I started with a 12x12 white piece of cardstock for the base. Then I cut 24 strips (each 1/4") from the 12x12 papers & staggered their lengths. I also cut a 1/4" black piece to of as a spacer when gluing them down.

12x12 Doggone Cute Scrapbook Page for photos of your pet dog

I added little puffy hearts at the bottom of each strip. I love puffy stickers and how they add a little dimension to the page. I use them on everything!

12x12 Dog Scrapbook Page with puffy heart stickers

On the lower half of the page, I added the blue Good Boy print and the scalloped border sticker from the This & That sheet. Then, I cut 3 photo mats (3.5"x 3.5") out of the yellow polka dot print called Man's Best Friend.

12x12 Doggone Cute Pet Scrapbook Page for dog photos

There are so many cute embellishments in this collection to choose from! The dogs, the dog bowl, and the grass are from the Odds & Ends. The "you had me at woof" is from the Chit Chat and the little orange tennis ball is from the mini icon stickers.

I hope my layout inspires you to use your own scrap pieces and have fun being creative with the Doggone Cute Collection. Happy crafting!
