SPECIAL DELIVERY MULTI-PHOTO LAYOUT | with Erica

Do you create layouts using 3 or more photos? Sometimes it can be hard trying to come up with a design for multiple photos. Today I want to share an easy way to get multiple photos on your page with a quick and simple design using the new Special Delivery collection from Doodlebug Design. I printed my photos out at home sized at 2.5 x 2.5. They are a mix of black /white and color photos! I wanted to go with a horizontal design towards the top. I used the; Choo Choo 12x12 pattern paper as my background and adhered a strip of the Cuddly Cubs paper at the top. I knew I wanted to create a line of different die cuts and stickers where the two papers met and tuck my photos in behind all the die cuts. This design would work with any collection and it is a great way to use up some of your die cuts and stickers! I tucked in a few tabs from the 12 x 12 Special Delivery sticker sheet and added some Doodlebug sprinkles around my photos. You could definitely change this up and add in a couple different pattern papers at the top instead of just one. You could also change up the size and make them larger. You could also use more photos or change up the size to 3x4! A lot of different possibilities with this simple but cute design! To finish up my layout i created an embellishment cluster in the bottom right corner using the super cute Lovable Lion doodle pop! I typed out my journaling using my We R Memory Keepers typewriter! Here is a look at my completed layout. Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you are inspired to create a page using this design with multiple photos. Have a wonderful day!

SPECIAL DELIVERY LAYOUT | with Erica

Do you struggle with what to do with left over paper strips? Today I want to share how you can take a basic shape and add some interest and texture to it using those paper strips!
I am using the new; Special Delivery collection from Doodlebug Design. I started out with a plain heart that I cut using my Silhouette Cameo. You could also draw your own heart and cut it out. Once my heart was cut I took strips of 12x12 pattern paper from the collection and distressed all the edges to add some texture. I covered the plain cardstock heart with some adhesive and then added my paper strips at a diagonal.
I trimmed off all the over hang pieces and love how it turned out! I added lots of foam adhesive to the back of the heart and placed it on a trimmed down piece of white textured cardstock. I picked out the Special Delivery Nighty Night 12x12 paper to mat my trimmed down white cardstock. Since my paper strips are at a diagonal I thought it would be fun to keep the embellishments and photo on the same line. The doodle pops in this new collection are adorable and I just had to use the Special Delivery one on this layout! The stork and baby are just the cutest and fit perfect to the right of my photo!
I used some large words from the Special Delivery chit chat pack for my title and I think it fits perfectly on this heart! I popped the words up on some foam adhesive to add some more dimension. My photo is printed out in black and white and is of baby Eli James when he came home from the hospital. His big brother Gavin and big sister Alyssa were loving on him. Such a sweet photo of these three! I added a banner from the chit chat pieces along the bottom of the photo and placed a few die cuts and stickers around the heart!
Save your paper strips and give this technique a try! I think it would work well on a large circle and even a large star! Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you enjoyed my layout today and I hope you all have a wonderful day.

COMBINING COLLECTIONS FOR ONE BEAUTIFUL LAYOUT | with Virginia

Lots of graduations going on this time of year and the Hats Off collection is perfect to record these moments.  Not just limited to the graduations, the inspirational quotes and neutral colours in Hats Off are fabulous to scrapbook end-of-year sports activities. Adding elements from another DB collection works great (I added bits from the  Hello line) because the colours just pop off the page!

Make an embellishment to suit your layout theme. The banner sentiment originally read 'congrats grad' and I just covered up the word 'grad' with another banner sentiment. I love the confetti paper as the background and added sequins for extra sparkle!

Hope this inspires you to think of fun ways to use your scrapbooking stash!
