HEY PUMPKIN SPOOKY LAYOUT | with Brianna

Hey friends! Brianna Lepper here today and I'm so happy to share a second layout using the new Hey Pumpkin collection. You just can't help but fall in love with all of the adorable embellishments! Here's my page:

To start, I went through the patterned papers and trimmed down a few pieces from Moonlight Magic, Boo-tiful Bouquet and Halloween Haul. I distressed the edges and adhered them down to a piece of white cardstock. The patterns and color palette are all so pretty.

I adhered my photo right in the middle of all of the paper layers and built up some embellishment clusters by pulling in some of the This & That Stickers, Icons Stickers, Puffy Icon Stickers and a few Bits & Pieces. My son graciously let me take a few photos of him before he ran off to trick or treat so I of course had to throw in some candy elements.

I chose a phrase from the Chit Chat for my title and adhered it under my photo. The font is so fun and I love the pop of green on top of that magenta!

This little kitty from the Bits & Pieces pack was the perfect addition to the bottom left corner. It helped balance out the whole page.

I ended up choosing that large ephemera piece from the Bits & Pieces pack and it fit so nicely layered on the bottom left corner of my photo. It's like it was made for that spot! I sprinkled in a few Mini Jewels to add some sparkle here and there but that completed my page.

Here's one more look a this "Spooky" layout:

Thank you so much for stopping by today, I hope that I've inspired you in some way. I'll see you in my next post friends!

AT THE ZOO WILD ADVENTURE LAYOUT | with Nathalie

Summer is time for adventure, especially when that involves a visit to your local zoo. So what better way to document those fun moments than the fun and colorful At the Zoo collection.

It just works so perfectly for this memory of my little cousins enjoying the zoo resting spots. It was so easy to bring this together.

It all started with the Zoo Paper, I carefully cut out the woodgrain frame out of it. I then trimmed a piece of the Roly Poly Pandas paper and adhere to the bottom of the Zippity-Zoo Dots paper. Next, I adhere the woodgrain frame to the papers.

I backed the picture with a paper from the 6x6 paper pad, and set it inside the frame. It was then time to embellish my spread with all those pieces from the collection.

All those cute animal stickers are just perfect to frame the photo and bring more of the images in the picture. I added a few of them around the picture, and that helped frame it all.

I mixed some of the stickers with pieces from the Odds and Ends to create the title for my page. I set it at the bottom of the picture then added a few Sprinkles all around the page to complete my layout.

I hope this inspires you to pull your At the Zoo collection to document your wild adventure memories!
XO!

AT THE ZOO - ZOO ADVENTURE LAYOUT | with Brianna

Hey friends! Brianna Lepper here today and I've got a fun layout to share using the At The Zoo collection. I loved taking the boys to the zoo when they were little and we have no shortage of great memories to document. Here's my page:

To start, I went through the patterned papers and selected the Roly Poly Pandas, Zoo Friends and At The Zoo papers. I used At The Zoo as my base and adhered a piece of textured white cardstock sized at 11x12 right on top. I then took the B side of Roly Poly Pandas and the Zoo Friends papers and trimmed them both down. I adhered them at the top of my page with the intent of having my photos and embellishments cascade down towards the center of my design.

Next, I went through the Odds & Ends pack and selected a few pieces that matched my photos. We were at the flamingo exhibit and the flamingos in this collection are so adorable!!!

I matted my photos using the 6x6 Paper Pad and made sure to pop one up on foam tape for some interest. I then started to embellish around my photos using more ephemera pieces, Icons and Mini Icons Stickers.

For my title, I used a phrase piece from the Odds & Ends pack and paired it with a Mini Icon sticker. It was perfect!

I then added some smaller elements using the Jungle Leaves Shape Sprinkles and the At The Zoo Matte Sprinkles.

Here's one last look at this colorful and fun page:

FUN AT THE PARK HAPPY MEMORIES LAYOUT | with Erica

Hey friends! Erica here with you today to share a 12x12 scrapbook layout using the Fun at the Park collection.

I decided to use this collection to document photos that are not from "the park" and just some photos of my daughter and her boyfriend in front of the Ferris wheel!

I started by picking out some basic papers from the Fun at the Park collection and trimmed down five of them to 2" x 9" strips and adhered them to a piece of 12x12 Lily White cardstock. Next I pulled out some non themed embellishments and then die cut some stitched hearts! I knew I wanted to add a line of embellishments going down the left side of the page.

I started by adding the largest hearts first and then filling in with odds & ends, fussy cut elements, icon stickers and sprinkles!

I matted my photos onto some pattern paper from the 6x6 Fun at the Park paper pad and adhered down to the page. I used two chit chat pieces for my title and placed them under the photo.

This layout was really fun to put together using it for a different theme than being at the park! I love all the bold black elements in this collection and I think they pop with the black and white photos! I have a lot of stitched hearts left so I am going to challenge myself to create another non themed layout!

Thanks so much for stopping by the Doodlebug Blog today! I hope you are inspired to give this collection a different look at use it for non themed photos!

HOMETOWN USA FIREWORKS LAYOUT | with Brianna

Hey friends! Brianna Lepper here today and I've got another layout using the Hometown USA collection. There are a lot of fireworks pieces in this collection so I thought it would be fun to document some photos of my boys setting off some a few years ago. Here's my page:

To start, I pulled out the Summer Celebration 12x12 paper and used it as a base. I took the Polka-Dot Pride 12x12 paper and trimmed it down to a 9x12. Next, I layered a piece of the white cardstock from the 12x12 Textured Cardstock Assortment that I trimmed down to a 6x12 right on top of it. I was able to display some pretty patterned papers and also have the pretty white to make my photos and embellishments pop.

I love large ephemera pieces but sometimes I have a hard time incorporating them into my layouts. I kept this in mind when I was putting my page together and made sure to leave space for this adorable plane from the Odds & Ends pack. It fit perfectly!

I matted my photos using the 6x6 Paper Pad and centered them on my page. I then adhered the fireworks stickers from the Freedom Fireworks Shaker-Pops on each side. For my title, I chose the 'Fireworks' phrase from the Chit Chat pack and centered in between my two photos. I love the font of this phrase, it's so fun!

To continue along with the fireworks theme, I pulled out a bunch of fireworks from both the Odds & Ends and Bits & Pieces packs. I popped them all up with foam tape and arranged them around my page. I also chose another phrase piece from the Chit Chat pack and centered it at the top of my photos.

The fireworks pieces really add additional pops of color throughout my design. For some finishing touches, I adhered some stars in some clusters and added in some tangled thread and silver paint splatters.

Here's one last look at this fun patriotic page:

HOMETOWN USA SUMMER FAMILY FUN LAYOUT | with Brianna

Hey friends! Brianna Lepper here and I have another layout using the super adorable Hometown USA collection. We are missing our pool back in Louisiana right about now so I thought it would be fun to document some photos of me and pups celebrating July 4th by playing in the pool most of the day. Hopefully we will be back in it one day. This collection is perfect for your summer photos!! Here's my layout:

To start, I took two of the Red, White & Blue 12x12 patterned papers and set aside one (star side) for my base. I then took the other paper and trimmed out a 3x12 strip of the diagonal side. I also pulled out the Land Of The Free 12x12 paper and trimmed out a 2x12 strip of the red heart side. I then layered the two strips together and adhered it to the left side of the star paper. Those patterns go so well together.

Next, I pulled out the three tags from the Bits & Pieces pack and decided to make a shaker in one of them. I pulled out a square paper punch from my stash and punched it right in the center of the blue tag. I then adhered a piece of acetate to the back of the tag, adhered some foam tape around the square and poured in the Land That I Love Shakers. This mix is ADORABLE!! I sealed my shaker using a piece of vellum and attached the Blue Jeans twine to all three tags. I popped them all up on foam tape and adhered them along the side of the patterned papers.

Next, I matted my photos using the 6x6 Paper Pad and adhered my three photos to the tags. Look at my sweet Luna girl. She's smiling in this photo!

I used a phrase from the Chit Chat pack for my title and popped it up on foam tape. It needed a little more embellishing around it so I added a few more pieces from that pack and then also added in that sweet little girl and animals from the Odds & Ends pack. It was a perfect addition on top of that cute title. I love how it pops!

I embellished around the tags using more Odds & Ends, Icons Stickers as well as some of the Puffy Icons Stickers.

Here's one last look at this fun page:

HOMETOWN USA THREE CHEERS FOR THE RED, WHITE & BLUE LAYOUT | with Tarrah

What do you do when you don't live in the US or celebrate 4th of July but have the gorgeous Hometown USA collection to create with? You improvise and find something else to document instead!  As it turns out, my Dad's favourite football team here in Australia have the colours of red, white and blue so the Hometown USA collection was perfect to document a photo of him and I at one of their games recently!

To begin, I chose my photo and then chose elements from all of the die-cut and sticker packs that would suit the theme of my layout. I then chose a free cut file from Paper Issues and cut it out from white cardstock with my Silhouette Cameo machine.

I chose the various papers from the 6' x 6' paper pad and backed the diagonal 'burst' spaces with the papers using regular adhesive. I trimmed the white cardstock so that I could back the page onto red cardstock. I used craft foam to back the white cardstock against the red so that the layout looked to have some depth. To back the stars, I chose more papers from the 6' x 6' paper pad however this time I simply adhered them to the red cardstock making sure that the star would be filled.

Below is an example of how the stars look. They have more depth as there is a shadow created from the craft foam and dimension that this creates.

I used the silver Alphabet Soup puffy stickers to add the name of the football team and embellished my layout with Chit Chat die-cuts, Bits and Pieces die-cuts, Odds and Ends and This and That stickers. I absolutely love the acetate firework die-cuts! Lastly I stamped the date stamp of when the photo was taken and my layout was finished. I love how my layout turned out and remember even if you don't celebrate a specific holiday, you can always make a collection work with a different theme!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!
