Sizzix + Doodlebug Birthday Projects by Wendy

Hi Doodlebug friends!  It's Wendy Sue here today, sharing my Sizzix projects with you!  I was excited to have the opportunity to use the tiny flowers embossing folder along with the flower layers and leaf die. Combined with products from the "Sugar Shoppe" collection, I whipped up a batch of birthday girl projects!

My project set includes two A2 sized cards, a small square card, and a quick little tag to add to a gift!

My first card (above) features the smaller of the two flowers included on the die.  I just love the whimsical look of the big, slightly odd shaped, flower center circle.  I also used the leaf die, and left the middle part empty.  I love the negative space here!  Of course, I just had to use the embossing folder for the background.

I loved the embossed flower background on the gray patterned paper so much that I opted to use it again for my second card.  I used all of the die pieces to create this over-sized flower - plus I added a little yellow doodle-pop flower to the center.   I know the leaves aren't a natural color...but aren't they super cute?!?

On this little mini card I used the larger flower to back the scallop circle sticker.  And I used the embossing folder, the opposite side, to create a debossed background!  Of course, sprinkles and a little bit of doodle twine are the finishing touches to this one!

And finally, I used the leaf die to create this uber colorful leaves to this fun tag.  I love swapping out the center piece for a fun coordinating color!

Thanks so much for stopping by today...and happy creating to you!

Inspiration Celebration with Cards by Stephanie Buice

Hi everyone! Stephanie here today to share my Sizzix project with you.
When we were offered the opportunity to receive some of the Doodlebug dies I was so happy!
here are some of the cards that I made for this assignment:

I love that the die sets come with the matching stamps, all you have to do is cut it out using the die and then stamp the image. So easy right!?

On this Hello Sunshine card I decided to add in some extra flowers cut and stamped onto cardstock, and some of the leaves from the Spring Flowers Die Cut pack. I added in some of white enamels in some of the flower centers to finish this one off.

For these cards I decided that I wanted to color in the image. I started out by using some colored pencils but then decided that it would be more fun to water color some of them. So mine are are mix of both.

My last card is a clean and simple one, I loved these little banner type tags and wanted to use a few colors of them on my card. As I was cutting some white ones, I realized that the cardstock I was cutting them from was just as cute. I decided to use it as the base of my card and fill it in with some of the colored ones I had already cut. I added my sentiment, enamels and a paper bow. You could easily remake this card in 10 minutes!
I hope you like the cards I've shared with you today, mine are already stamped and sent out to bring some sunshine to a few friends. Have a great day everyone!
Stephanie.
