BUNNY HOP HAPPY EASTER LAYOUT | with Tarrah

There is just something about Easter that I love so much, I think it must be the adorable bunnies and I mean who doesn't love the yummy chocolate eggs right!? The Bunny Hop collection is absolute cuteness overload and it is the perfect collection to document this gorgeous photo of my niece!

I picked a cut file from the Bunny Hop collection called Bunny Girl and cut out all the different pieces from different colored cardstock in the Bunny Hop coordinating cardstock pack. Once all the pieces were cut, I loved piecing the bunny girl together and love how she turned out!

I adhered her flat and slightly to the left to another sheet of white cardstock that I trimmed down so that I could add a colored paper from the Bunny Hop collection as a frame behind the white cardstock. Once the large Bunny Girl was placed I adhered my photo to the right of the cut file and began to build a sort of garden using embellishments.

On the hair bow I wanted to add something else, so I added a flower cluster die-cut and I also placed my title across the dress on the cut file. I LOVE Doodle-pops and used a few on this layout including the sun above the photo and the adorable chickens in the garden.

I used lots of die-cuts from the Bits and Pieces and Odds and Ends packs as the base for the garden and then layered some stickers over the top to add a little bit of dimension and texture. I love how this enhances some of the flowers on the layout a bit more. I also added the green border sticker from the This and That sticker sheet to the very bottom to replicate the look of grass.

Thank you so much for stopping by today! I hope you have the Bunny Hop collection and can get some Easter memories documented using it! We would love to see what you create! Happy creating!

OVER THE RAINBOW SO HAPPY LAYOUT | with Tarrah

The Over the Rainbow collection is perfect for documenting how lucky and blessed I feel every day with this amazing man by my side! I chose to create a horizontal design, adhering lots of different patterned papers from the Over the Rainbow collection to a plain sheet of white cardstock.

I love all the clover and rainbow icons in this collection and my favorite out of everything? Definitely the colors! I mean the colors just scream happy right? I placed my photo to the top of the papers and arranged my title to the left of the photo, I adhered my title using craft foam to create some dimension on my page.

When I print my photos, I always include a white border and on this layout, I also matted another paper behind the photo to help it pop off the page. For me, the photo is always the main focus on my layouts. I tucked in a blue tag and a heart tab to the right of the photo too. If you know me, you know I LOVE color and I LOVE hearts!!

I placed some die-cut embellishments using craft foam on top of the patterned papers, choosing some border ones from the Odds and Ends and Bits and Pieces packs. I also added some puffy sprinkle stickers to enhance some of the icons even more and create an extra layer.

My title was chosen from the Chit Chat pack and I also took some of the This and That stickers and placed these around the page to also help tell the story. Lastly I stamped the date stamp from when the photo as taken and I am happy to have another special memory documented to look back on in years to come.

6 X 8 MINI ALBUMS - RECAP XOXO ALBUM | with Tarrah

Today, I have a recap of my love themed Doodlebug Design 6" x 8" album using the Bubblegum color album together with the gorgeous Lots of Love collection. My favorite part of my album would have to be the front cover, I just love pink, red and white together and how can you go past that cute teddy bear with the balloons right?

Some detail photos below of the front cover.

I loved that I could add some detail to the name plate on the spine.

My front page has a heart cut file on it with some papers backed behind the cut file. I added my title and a banner to begin the theme of my album.

Below is the 'Sweet' themed double spread I created using an album chipboard cover and some album pocket pages. The pocket pages are perfect for adding small photos and smaller embellishments.

The spread below features one large pocket page on the left with a jar of hearts cut file and the right hand side holds a photo mat and some embellishments from the die-cut packs, Chit Chat, Odds and Ends and some This and That stickers.

The below spread has the pocket page on the right with all of the hearts added and the left hand side holds a large photo with some Chit Chat and Odds and Ends die-cuts.

The right-hand side pocket on the page below holds some sweet Valentine's cards and love notes my partner and I have exchanged, because of the whole letter theme for this spread, I just had to use the envelope/delivery embellishments.

The 25 Things I Love About You journal card was the perfect addition to my album, I was able to write down 25 things that I love about my partner and I love that we can look back on this in the future to remind us.

The below spread is my floral spread, I loved adding a few flowers to this spread in the form of a mixed size pocket page.

I loved adding elements like machine stitching and cut files to my album, I love that the machine stitching adds some texture along with Doodle Twine and I love how cut files really help with designs and filling pages.

I absolutely LOVE anything to do rainbows so I had to feature a rainbow page. The below chipboard cover features a photo on a photo mat with some rainbow embellishments and I created a pocket to be able to pull out that might hold extra photos and/or journaling.

Thank you so much for stopping by today to see the recap of my 6" x 8" album! I hope you get the chance to add some memories and pretty things to your album, we would love to see yours! Make sure to tag Doodlebug on socials so we can see! Happy creating!

6 X 8 MINI ALBUMS - XOXO ALBUM PART 4 | with Tarrah

Today I am back to share some more pages from my Bubblegum 6 x 8 album and I have continued using the gorgeous Lots of Love collection throughout my album, I love this collection to document the love between my partner and me.  If you missed my first posts, you can find my cover post here and my pages posts here and here.

I decided that my title page would have a heart background cut file and I also placed the "So Happy Together" Chit Chat die-cut title over the top of the cut file and also added the heart banner Chit Chat under the title. I backed the hearts in the cut file with some papers from the 6" x 6" paper pad.

For this next spread, I chose a rainbow theme. On the left hand side I made a pocket to be able to pull out extra photos and journaling and added a rainbow Odds & Ends piece to the top. I added a rainbow envelope Doodle Pop to the front ( aren't they just the cutest?) and also some Bumblebee Doodle Twine along with some puffy stickers.

On the right hand side, I added one of the long journal spots to the far right and then a 3" x 4" card on the other side, I also added some small puffy hearts to the card.

For this next spread, I used a pocket on the right hand side and a clear pocket page on the right. I made this one the heart hot air balloon theme. I added the large "25 Things I Love About You" journaling paper on the far right, adhering it to the top of the pocket on the right. I took another 3" x 4" card and adhered that next to the journaling card. I added a photo here and popped up the "Love" title with craft foam.

It didn't take me long to write 25 things I love about my partner hehe!

On the left hand side is the clear pocket page, at the top I added a photo and stapled a banner die-cut and added the You & Me arrow. I also added some hearts in a die-cut and some puffy stickers. On the bottom section, I added a paper from the 6" x 6" paper pad and placed some stickers from the This and That sticker sheet, I also added some die-cuts here as well.

6 X 8 MINI ALBUMS - XOXO ALBUM PART 3 | with Tarrah

Hi everyone! I'm back with more pages from the inside of my 'Love' themed Bubblegum 6" x 8" album. I decorated 4 pages and decided to add some cut files together with the Lots of Love collection - one of my favorite combinations! If you missed my first posts, you can find my cover post here and my first pages here.

The left hand side is a full 6" x 8" pocket, I added a jar cut file and backed the hearts using papers from the Lots of Love 6" x 6" paper pad. I adhered it to the pink cardstock inside the pocket. I added the jar die-cut to the bottom right corner and took some titles from the Lots of Love Chit Chat pack and placed at the top of the jar. I also placed a border sticker from the This and That sticker sheet under the title.

On the right hand side, I used one of the chipboard dividers and created a large photo mat and after placing my photo, added some die-cuts at the bottom and a phrase banner die-cut at the top. On the tab on the divider I added a tab sticker from the This and That sticker sheet.

My next spread consists of more pocket pages and the back of a plain white pocket page and I decided to make this spread a 'Sweet' theme! On the left, I added another cut file, backing the letters and hearts using papers from the Lots of Love 6" x 6" paper pad. I then added some die-cuts that were sweet themed.

I also added the phrase banner die-cut to the centre and some die-cut hearts all using craft foam to add some dimension. I love how the colors pop against the white of the cardstock.

On the right hand side, still keeping with the 'Sweet' theme, I used a 4x pocket page with the sizes of each pockets measuring approximately 3" x 4". I love that you can add photos and papers or mix it up and add both like I did! I added some cute die-cuts right over the top of my photo as well.

6 X 8 MINI ALBUMS - XOXO ALBUM | with Tarrah

Have you seen the new gorgeous 6" x 8" albums? They are sooo beautiful and come in 14 different colors. I was lucky enough to pick the color I wanted to work with and if you know me, I absolutely love PINK, so I chose the Bubblegum album and today I am sharing how I decorated the front cover.

I decided on a love theme for my album, to celebrate and document photos of myself with my amazing and fairly new partner for life! First up I raided my ribbon and trim stash and pulled out the perfect white heart ribbon which I adhered to the left side overlapping the pink spine. I then added puffy hearts in the open spaces of the ribbon. I used red and 2 different pink puffy hearts.

I trimmed a strip from the Lots of Love Hugs and Kisses paper and adhered that flush to the spine of the album. I then took the Ladybug Chunky Twine and tied it around the album, I added a Little Charmer from the Happy Healing collection and also a Bits and Pieces die-cut from the Lots of Love collection. I also added a cardstock sticker from the This and That sticker sheet.

For the metal plate, I added a tag piece from the 6' x 6' paper pad and also added a puffy heart to the left to cover the circle of the tag. I wanted to keep the cover in the colors of pink, red and white as I feel it really pops!

Back to the top of the album, I took the XOXO title from the Chit Chat die-cut pack and adhered it to the centre of the front cover using foam tape. I then took the bear holding the balloons die-cut from the Odds and Ends pack and adhered it covering the first blue 'O' of the XOXO. I added some more little Chit Chat pieces and I took some of the larger hearts from the Bits and Pieces pack and adhered those to the front cover too.

Stay tuned for future posts where I will be sharing how I have added some memories and decorated the inside of the album! I love how my cover turned out, make sure you get your hands on some of these gorgeous albums, remember there are 14 colors!

TINSEL TIME CHRISTMAS LIGHTS LAYOUT | with Tarrah

Merry Christmas everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful day celebrating! Have you got the new Tinsel Time collection yet? It is SO beautiful and perfect to document all of your Christmas memories. Each year our family loves to go and see all the Christmas lights displays in our area and the Tinsel Time collection captures some of the photos I took brilliantly.

I first chose 3 background patterned papers from the Tinsel Time collection, they were the 'B' side of 'Berry Merry', the 'B' side of 'Snow Bright' and the 'B' side of 'Tree Trimmings'. I kept the Berry Merry paper at 12' x 12' and trimmed down the Snow Bright paper to 11' x 11' and the Tree Trimmings paper to 10' x 10' and adhered them all together so there were bordered of each paper.

I chose a Christmas Lights cut file to go with the theme of my page and backed it with the 6' x 6' paper pad version of the Berry Merry paper. I then adhered the cut file to the centre of the papers using foam tape. I added 2 photos, 1 in the top left of the cut file and 1 in the bottom right of the cut file also using foam tape.

Next was my favorite part, embellishing!!! I placed the beautiful pink Christmas Cottage Doodle Pop to the bottom left corner of the cut file, Doodle Pops are my favorite! How about you?! I placed the stocking die-cut from the Bits and Pieces pack at the bottom of the cut file and also added the strings of lights also from the Bits and Pieces pack. I placed the Twinkle Lights Shape Sprinkles over the top of the light die-cuts.

The house and foliage die-cut is from the Bits and Pieces pack and the lamp post die-cut is from the Odds and Ends pack. I also added the lamp post from the Snow Wonderful Doodle Pop too. At the very top of my page, I took the individual lights and added them using foam tape and then added some silver twine to mimic the lights being hung as one strand.

I love how my layout turned out and I hope you enjoy reading how I created it as much as I enjoyed creating it. Happy creating!
