HEY PUMPKIN GUMBALL MACHINE MINI ALBUM | with Traci

Hey crafty friends! Traci here and today I have a super "sweet" project to share with you. I created a gumball machine shaped mini album with the adorable new Hey Pumpkin Collection. With a fun shaker on the cover, this little scrapbook is filled with bright colors, a festive Halloween theme, and lots of Doodlebug cuteness!

Gumball Machine Halloween Scrapbook Album by Artsy Albums

Cutting files are often a great source of inspiration for me. For this project, I used one from the Hey Pumpkin Collection called Gumball Machine. I cut the base for the front and back covers out of bubblegum and cupcake pink card stock and the pages out of lily white.

Gumball Machine Halloween Scrapbook Album with a shaker on the cover with candies inside

How cute is this shaker?! The colorful Sweet Treats candy pieces are so fun bouncing around inside. I also added the "sweet" from the Spooky Sweet Doodle-pops, die cuts from the Odds & Ends, and Trick or Treats enamel shaped sprinkles. Love!  Note: At the bottom of the page, I've added a few instructions on how to create the shaker.

Gumball Machine Halloween Scrapbook Album page with colorful plaid, witch, cauldron, and cute frog

Inside, there are 6 white scrapbook pages that I covered in 12x12 pattern papers. I used the Plaid It's Halloween print above. Aren't those colors fab-boo-lous!?!

Gumball Machine Halloween Scrapbook Album page with ghosts, candy, and pumpkin

I made a scalloped circle photo mat for each page using a 3.5" scalloped punch, a 3" circle punch, and paper from the 6x6 inch paper pad. The smaller print sizes are perfect for these.

Gumball Machine Halloween Scrapbook Album page with ghosts, cat, flowers, and a pumpkin

Then, I decorated the album with pieces from the Odds & Ends, Chit Chat, and stickers from the This & That. Oh my gosh, every single embellishment is cuter than the next. The little black cat tucked in the flowers is precious and on the next page, the dessert stand is filled with treats that look too cute to eat!

Gumball Machine Halloween Scrapbook Album page with witch, candy, and pumpkins

These are my favorite pages. I love the Halloween Haul print filled with brightly colored candies. I used the 12x12 paper on the left and the 6x6 for the photo mat on the right. The mix of pattern sizes and adorable die cuts go perfectly together!

Gumball Machine Halloween Scrapbook Album page with moon, candy, flowers, and pumpkin

Since I used the globe part of the gumball machine for my round photo mats, the lower "stand" section makes a great spot for fun embellishments or journaling.

Gumball Machine Halloween Scrapbook Album page with a pink car, a pink house, and candy

Look at the cute pink car! Maybe it's a Volkswagen Bug? It probably belongs to the bright pink house on the next page, lol!

Gumball Machine Halloween Scrapbook Album page with spiders, webs, and candy

Ok, time for some simple directions ...

I made the cover a shaker by creating a frame out of the inner globe piece. I duplicated it, highlighted the shape, and made an internal offset to create another line inside.

Next, I highlighted both shapes, right clicked, and chose "Make Compound Path" to delete the inner shape and leave the frame portion. And finally, I backed the frame with clear acetate and adhered it to the original background shape with foam tape.

And there ya have it! I hope my Gumball Machine Shaped Mini Album inspires you to create something spooktacular with the Hey Pumpkin Collection and it's boo-tiful cutting files! Have a great day 😊

FARMERS MARKET FALL MEMORIES BASKET MINI ALBUM | with Traci

Hey there friends! Today I have a bright and cheerful basket shaped mini album for you titled Fall Memories. I designed it with the colorful Farmers Market Collection and it makes the perfect little keepsake for saving photos of autumn, family, friends, a vacation, or Thanksgiving!

I created this with my white Acrylic Basket Shaped Album, but you could easily use white cardstock or chipboard instead. On the cover, I filled my basket with lots of beautiful flower die cuts from the Bits & Pieces. Then, I added the "Fall" title from the Chit Chat and the cute smiling pumpkins from the Odds & Ends.

If you look closely, you'll see a few adorable little bees from the Beehive Shaker-pops and lots of enamel shape sprinkles. My favorites! There are flowers and leaves from the Fall Flowers sprinkles and some enamel dots from the Fall Assortment. Love those red berries!

Inside, I added matching die cuts from the Bits & Pieces to the backside of those on the front cover. There are so many pretty flower and leaf shapes to choose from in the package.

Above, I created a fold-out page, then added a cute flippie to the front made with a journaling card from the 12x12 Fall Floral paper. These lined cards are great for adding dates, events, locations, names, or notes to your albums.

Since fall is a time when people gather together and enjoy a good meal, I added some of the 4x6 inch recipe cards to my mini. They are so cute and the perfect size. The package includes 36 double sided cards that come in six different colorful designs.

Check out this cute pocket I created with the beautiful Farm Fresh gingham paper. I tucked a lined card and a 4x4 card from the Veggie Stick paper inside. You can use these for journaling or as photo mats.

Doodlebug has so many adorable images for fall. Above, I added the veggie stand die cut but there are also lots of autumn leaves, trees, pumpkins, flowers, veggies, dogs, cats, bees, ladybugs, and so much more!

The Farmers Market Collection is so fun and sure to put a smile on your face ... just like the cute vegetables above! I love the fall patterns and pretty colors and hope my basket shaped mini album inspires you.

If you'd like to recreate this scrapbook, the acrylic album & instructions are available in my shop. Thanks for stopping by the blog and have a great day!

AT THE ZOO MINI ALBUM | with Traci

Hello everyone! Traci here and today, I've created an acrylic tabbed mini album with a super cute jungle theme! I made it with the adorable At The Zoo Collection and it's perfect for highlighting photos of the zoo, Disney's Animal Kingdom theme park, a safari, a birthday party, a petting zoo, baby photos, a baby shower, or a school field trip. This collection is great for so many pictures!

Zoo Jungle Scrapbook Acrylic Mini Album with lots of cute animal and prints

I designed this with my 5x7 inch clear Acrylic Tabbed Album, but you could easily make this out of white card stock or chipboard instead. On the cover, I added the zebra print called Zoo Animals, a scallop circle sticker from the This & That, and lots of cute die cuts from the Odds & Ends. The panda might be my favorite!

Zoo Jungle Scrapbook Acrylic Album page with a cute seal, enamel leaf sticker, and polka dots

On each of the tabs, I added lots of word stickers from the This & That. Then inside, I strategically layered photo mats and embellishments to match on both sides of the clear acrylic pages. That way, you never see the adhesive.

Zoo Jungle Scrapbook Acrylic Album page with a cute seal, enamel leaf sticker, and polka dots

On this first page, I wanted to add a little punch of red so I made the photo mat out of the petite print wood grain in ladybug. Then, I embellished with a cute blue seal from the Odds & Ends, another word sticker from the This & That, and a shiny enamel shape sprinkle called Jungle Leaves. Oh, how I ❤️ sprinkles.

Zoo Jungle Scrapbook Acrylic Album page with a animal journaling card, a colorful toucan bird, and polka dots

I also love mixing patterns from the 12x12 and 6x6 paper pad. The page above is a great example. The small journaling card and the tiny Zippity-Zoo Dots are from the 6x6 prints. On the page behind it, I added the larger 12x12 dot paper. And ... the cute toucan bird die cut just matches it all perfectly!

Zoo Jungle Scrapbook Acrylic Album page with a cute koala bear, giraffe, and polka dots

This collection is so fun to play with and it's filled with sweet faced little animals. Just look at the Zoo Friends print in the photo above and you'll get a quick glimpse at the whole adorable crew!

Zoo Jungle Scrapbook Acrylic Album page with a zebra print, a pink flamingo, and pretty green enamel leaves

Who loves a good zebra print besides me? The bold black and white pattern is awesome and it looks great with a touch of pink and green. So, I added the fun little flamingo and a few more enamel leaves.

Zoo Jungle Scrapbook Acrylic Album page with a palm tree, coconuts, and photo mat

I haven't made a zoo or jungle themed mini album in years, so this was so much fun for me. The At The Zoo Collection is amazing and I hope my scrapook inspires you to create something new as well. Happy crafting!

FUN AT THE PARK DIAMOND PAGE | with Traci

Hi crafters! Today, I'm sharing a 12x12 scrapbook page that I made with the wonderful Fun at the Park Collection. I've used this line in so many fun projects, most of which had a Disney theme. But, this layout is a little more generic and could be used for photos of summer, a road trip, or ... the "best day ever"!

To make it, I started with the 12x12 You Are Here paper as the base and layered white cardstock on top.

Next, I cut out 19 diamond shapes using different 12x12 pattern papers. The diamonds are approx. 2" wide by 3" tall so this was a great way to use up some of my scraps. Once I arranged them on the page how I wanted them, I adhered them to the white cardstock.

I love folding elements on a scrapbook page that allow for more photo space, so ... I created a flippie card out of white cardstock. I covered it in the 12x12 Mini Dot paper and embellished it with a cloud, palm tree, and car from the Odds & Ends. The cute little sunshine is a mini icon sticker.

Inside the flippie, there is space for two 3.5"x 5.5" photos. I added pictures of the kiddos at Disney World but really, this page could be used for any fun photo!

And last but not least, I added a few more die cut pieces across the layout. I used 3 word bubble pieces from the Chit Chat and a seagull, sunglasses, and heart from the Odds & Ends.

I hope this 12x12 scrapbook page inspires you to create your next project. With its colorful and vibrant prints, the Fun at the Park Collection was the perfect choice for all those diamonds and I love the cute embellishments. Have a great day and happy crafting!

SEASIDE SUMMER LIGHTHOUSE MINI ALBUM | With Traci

Hello friends! Today, I'm sharing a really cute lighthouse shaped mini album. Its coastal theme is perfect for saving summer photos of the beach, boating, or an amazing lighthouse. I created this unique scrapbook with the adorable Seaside Summer Collection and the Lighthouse 2 cutting file.

Lighthouse Shaped Scrapbook Mini Album for summer, beach, and boating photos

What a cute shape! I sized the file to approx. 3.25" x 10" and cut the front and back covers out of white acrylic. But, you could easily use white cardstock instead. The details on this are awesome ... the domed cupola, the catwalk, and the "rope" railing at the bottom. So fun!

Lighthouse Shaped Scrapbook Mini Album for summer, beach, and boating photos

To decorate the cover .. I chose the blue 12x12 Surf's Up print for the main tower section, then filled in the smaller spaces with a few colorful prints from the 6x6 paper pad.

Lighthouse Shaped Acrylic Scrapbook Album with waves, polka dots, flowers, and a rhinestones

To make the lantern sparkle, I added a few mini jewels in bumblebee. The pretty scalloped border with the flowers and the rainbow heart are both stickers from the This & That sheet.

Lighthouse Shaped Acrylic Scrapbook Album with waves, a colorful plaid, and a seagull

The icons stickers were the perfect size for this mini album so, I added the cute little seagull to the railing. The word bubble is from the Chit Chat.

On the inside of the front cover, I added an adorable beach house icon sticker, a 2x3 card from the 6x6 paper pad, and a few more Chit Chat pieces. Next, I cut 6 pages out of white cardstock and covered each one in 12x12 pattern papers.

Summer Lighthouse Shaped Scrapbook Album Pages with boats, cute sea animals, hibiscus flowers, and stripes

I made photo mats for each page using the smaller 6x6 prints. And above, I included the adorable summer memories journaling card. It's also from the 6x6 paper pad.

Check out all of the happy colors, cute stickers, and playful prints. They're perfect for summer!

Summer Lighthouse Shaped Scrapbook Album with Pages with beach scenes, a colorful plaid, and a cute blue whale puffy sticker

Did you notice the puffy shape icon stickers? I absolutely love these!! The blue whale is one and two photos up ... there is a cute little sunshine!

Summer Lighthouse Shaped Scrapbook Album Pages with 2 folding cards for extra photos

Here, I used the 2x2 cards from the 6x6 paper pad to create 2 small flippies. These are so cute and super practical. Now I can fit 4 photos on this page instead of just 2!

Lighthouse Shaped Scrapbook Album Pages with flower banners, summer icons, and 3 round photo mats

Above, I added 3 round die cut pieces from the Chit Chat to use as photo mats. (The white circles represent your pictures.)

Well, that's it for me today! I hope my lighthouse mini album inspires you to create something fun with the Seaside Summer Collection. Don't forget about the awesome cut files, too. Both are perfect for highlighting your summer photos or ... for any papercrafting project! 😊

HOMETOWN USA FIREWORKS PAGE | with Traci

Hey guys!  With the July 4th holiday just around the corner, I decided to create a super fun 12x12 scrapbook layout. I've been loving the Hometown USA Collection but I haven't used its Shadow Box Insert Kit yet. So ... today's the day! 🎉 I think this page turned out so cute and celebratory. I just love it!

12x12 July 4th Fireworks Scrapbook Page by Artsy Albums

If you haven't used one of the Shadow Box Insert Kits yet ... I totally recommend. It comes with a circle template, white cardstock, vellum, and tons of adorable stickers. You place the stickers on the vellum with the help of a template behind it and when you remove the template ... voila! The cutest patriotic collage ever!

12x12 July 4th Scrapbook Page Layout with lots of cute patriotic stickers

These are so fun and every paper collection has one. The Hometown USA kit is filled with fireworks, the Statue of Liberty, American flags, a hot air balloon, enamel sprinkles, and so many great images.

12x12 July 4th Scrapbook Page Layout with fireworks, Uncle Sam, a banner, and enamel stars

Here's how I created the layout ...

I used the 12x12 Land of the Free red hearts paper as the base and layered white cardstock and the 12x12 Summer Celebration fireworks print on top.

Then, I cut out a 7.25" circle from the red Land of the Free paper and used that behind the round collage.

12x12 July 4th Scrapbook Page Layout with fireworks, lots of cute stickers, a tag, and twine

Next, I matted my photos and added those to the page. I chose the 6x6 stripe print called Red, White, and Blue behind the photo above. I thought the smaller size worked better.

And finally, I decorated the page with die cuts from the Bits & Pieces and Chit Chat. I used 1 sticker from the This & That (the metallic silver USA in the photo above) and added a little bit of ladybug twine to my tag.

Such a fun and simple layout but I think the fireworks and fun collage make such a big impact. Perfect for the 4th of July celebrations.

I hope this layout inspires you to create something wonderful with the Hometown USA collection and the Shadow Box Insert Kit. They will definitely have you looking forward to the holiday!
