MY HAPPY PLACE EVERYDAY DOCUMENTING | with Nathalie

I am loving how everyday documenting is become a breeze since I started using Doodlebug's My Happy Place to complete  my daily pages.   The colors and designs are perfect to safekeep all those small moments.  Let me show you!

I am using the collection for my Family Journal, and these came together seamlessly in a short amount of time.

I started with a simple pocket page.  I added a few embellishments to the picture, and created my small card using the 6x6 paper pad (I fussy cut the smaller label so it fit in the card).   For my journaling page, I am bringing some of the same colors using the tag from the Bits and Pieces collection.   I just love how easily the embellishments combine.

I started with a Petite Print for the base of the page.  Then added a touch of rainbow with strips of patterned paper (with a punched edge)  to the outer edges of the spread.   This time, I fussy cut the image from the 3x4 cut apart cards, and added it as a complement  to the large sticker ( Sticker sheet).  A few sprinkles complete the page!

A grid design is always an easy way to tell a few stories cohesively.   This time, I am using patterned paper as the background for my layout, then added a few embellishments to complement my story.    The Bits and Pieces pack from this collection is probably one of my favorites, as it has the perfect elements to help you create clusters and add journaling in your pages.

I hope these give you a few ideas for your memory keeping projects. All you need are your photos, the story, and the beautiful My Happy Place Collection!  XO

Hello 2019 Travelers Notebook Layout | with Tya

I have a confession- the Hello collection is hands down my favorite Doodlebug collection of this year! I wanted to make a Travelers Notebook spread to start out the new year and I knew that I had to use this beautiful collection as my first spread. I mean look at those colors !

I used a few of my favorite pattern papers and lots of different embellishments to make my layout. Here on this page, I used some of the Odds and Ends and Chit Chat Ephemera. I used some of the  Gold Abigail Font stickers for the 2019. I also loved the gold Sprinkles too and so I added a small splatter of these up on the top. I journaled on the computer and mounted my word strips on some Cupcake Gingham Petite Print papers.
I love layering my pattern papers underneath my photos. Here I used the navy stripe paper from the 6x6 paper pad. The yellow grid paper is a journaling card found on the 12x12 Navy Stripe paper. The arrow and hearts are Ephemera and I added a pink doily for some texture. I also added my favorite Doodlepop - the Pink Poppy Doodlepop is the perfect finishing touch. More gold Sprinkles were added to the bottom corner as well.

 Here are a few close-ups:

Thanks a bunch for stopping by! I hope your new year is a wonderful one and grab one of our adorable Travelers Notebook and make some pages for your new year to celebrate! Happy Crafting!

Christmas Town & Daily Doodles TN | with Jomelle

"We're walkin' in a Winter Wonderland"

As soon as I finished my Christmas Set Up in my Daily Doodles TN, I knew I wanted to create another set up creating a winter wonderland. What can be more perfect to pair with my theme other than the lots 'o dots Daily Doodles TN? They are a perfect match.

Doodlebug is well known for their bright fun colors. I couldn't resist and I just had to create my theme using all the fun pink and blue pieces.
I picked out the elements that matches the theme I was going for and I created my insert cover. The front also serves as my dashboard. It's the first thing I see when I open my TN.
If you don't already know me, I love decorating my pockets with all the fun elements. I used a washi to keep my embellishments in place.
I feel so jealous of everyone who is celebrating the magic of the holiday with the snow falling above their heads. The white snow just makes everything so beautiful.
Even though there is no winter season here in Southern California, I still wanted to have that "winter" feel even if it's just in my planner.

I love adding decorative poms to the edges of my insert to add more texture and it always looks oh so pretty.

I really wish I can be walking in the Winter Wonderland. Thank you for stopping by.
