HELLO AGAIN NOTEBOOKS | with Jen

I write myself lots of notes and lists and my favorite way to keep track of things is travelers notebook inserts! I have a stash of Doodlebug inserts and decided to make myself a couple of new notebooks using the Hello Again Collection.

First up is my reading log. I read a lot and a few years ago I started keeping a log of what I read during the year. I make notes about the books and keep lists of books that have been suggested to me. I also like to write down quotes from books.

On the front I added some coordinating cardstock and some patterned paper. I added the Book Club Doodle-Pop. Inside I did a little decorating on some of the pages with washi tape, list cut-aparts and Odds and Ends.

For my second notebook I made a household log. I used a couple of elements from the This and That sticker sheet and some flowers from the Bits and Pieces pack.

Inside I used the envelopes from the Cards and Envelopes Assortment to add a place for receipts and things inside the notebook itself.

I also did a quick video walkthrough.  Stop by to check it out!

Have a great day!

HELLO AGAIN TRAVELERS NOTEBOOK | with Erica

Hello friends! I am excited to be back sharing another project using the Hello Again collection from Doodlebug Design!

My project today was inspired by the beautiful Gold Dot Acetate in the Hello Again collection. I decided to create a mini album and use the acetate as the cover.

To start the album I first trimmed down a piece of the acetate. My album size is 8.25"x5.50" and it is the most adorable album that is ready to fill up with memories! I trimmed down different pattern papers from the Hello Again collection in different sizes. I love to add pages in different sizes and shapes into my albums.

This album has fun pockets and flip outs for even more photos and journaling! I ran the base pages through my sewing machine to add some texture and interest to my pages.

Adding shaped pages in your album like this large circle adds a nice little surprise to your book! It adds interest and it is just a fun and easy element to add to the album.

These albums are super easy to create and a great way to use up scraps from a collection. There is no wrong way to create these albums and there a many different ways to bind them. The easiest would be to just add them into one of the Doodlebug Design Travelers Notebook covers. The pages are easy to add to the elastic bands and the notebook cover protects the pages and even has pockets!

For my album I just used some pink stretchy cord to bind all my pages and it will make it super easy if I want to add more pages to my book! I just love how this album came together! If you would be interested in a tutorial on how to create the base of this album leave me a comment down below! Thanks so much for stopping by the blog today!

LOTS O' LUCK - Daily Doodles Travel Panner Pages | with Nathalie

Today, I am sharing a layout in a Daily Doodle insert. They are perfect to create travel mini albums and even though the new collection Lots O' Luck is Saint-Patrick's Day oriented, I found just what I needed to document a visit to a lovely village in France:
For the base, I covered the pages with pink cardstock to enhance the reddish sandstone buildings and layered green paper from the 6x6 Lots O' Luck Paper pad.

I found a ready made title in the Odds & Ends pack as well as cute flower and leaf die-cuts:
Before adhering my typed journaling strips, I added a border sticker from the Lots O' Luck This & That sheet and machine stitching. I finished with tiny Shape Sprinkles (from the Shamrocks pack) for dimension and a word sticker (also from the This & That sheet) to add a pop of pink on the right page:
With all its green elements, I can totally see this range used to document the outdoors, your garden, a bouquet of flowers, Mother's Day and more... Don't feel limited by a collection's theme! And next time you want to record a trip, think about the many Daily Doodles options you have! Happy crafting!
