LOTS OF LOVE - LOVE YOU PET LAYOUT | with Nathalie

February is not over, so we keep celebrating love and all the lovable things in our lives. For me, it is probably my sweet baby boy, aka our 13yr old Boston Terrier. So, what better way than to use the fun Lots of Love collection for it.

I started with cutting two hearts from the patterned papers ( I drew a heart on copy paper, and used it as a template for the patterned paper hearts). I wanted contrasting, but simple designs so that they will stand out on the page.

I set them on an offset at the center of my base and then frame the entire page with a contrasting paper. I added a bit of foam adhesive behind the corners of the hearts to add dimension to the page. I added my photo next at the junction of the two hearts.

I am using all the flowers that I could find to embellish my layouts. The flower swag was just perfect for adding details to the edges of the hearts. I then added larger clusters of Bits and Pieces to the top of the hearts.

I added small phrase stickers to each of the clusters, and a few sprinkles to just complete the cluster. I then added a few extra embellishments to my photo. The cute stamp washi tape is amazing!!

To finish the page, I used Chit Chat pieces to create my title. I added a few extra stickers to make the title pop a little bit more, and completely balance my page.

I hope this gives you some inspiration for your next project with the beautiful LOTS OF LOVE collection. Cannot wait to see what you create! XO

LOTS OF LOVE MINI ALBUM | with Tya

Hello there Doodlebug fans! Hope you are all doing well and that you are enjoying this beautiful month of February, the month that we get to celebrate all things LOVE! I am super excited to share with you my latest DT project using the super cute 'Lots of Love' collection! I did a mini album with a little twist! I created a fun chipboard cover that fits a 4x6 album in! This technique is such a fun way to house your albums of this size! (and it also gave me more room to decorate and play with all of my amazing "Lots of Love" goodies! ) Come and see!

As you can see the collection is stunning with its bright pops of pink, red, and blue! Perfect for a love-themed album! I used so many elements to dress up my pages and it was super fun mixing and matching all the different products to make some really fun, and interactive pages! Let me show you a few pages!

As you can see, I love to add all sorts of flips and pockets to my albums! The pockets are the perfect spot to cut out a couple of tags from that cut-apart paper!

Look how beautiful the yellows are! Such a fun pop of bright color mixed with the vivid pink and blues! The florals in this collection are super fun to layer up and are great sizes to use in this size mini album!

And of course, no album would be complete without a cute Doodlepop here and there! I adore the shaker ones like this Tea one shown below!

The last few pages - good spots to showcase photos of all of your loved ones!

This little album has so many fun and interactive elements to it, that it is really hard to showcase with just photos sooooo - if you'd like to stop by and check out my walkthrough of this album - you can find it over on my YouTube channel! I'd love to show you just how much fun this little ( albeit chunky ) album is!

Thank you so much for stopping by today! I hope I have given you some inspiration to grab this adorable "Lots of Love" collection and make a mini album of your own! Happy crafting friends!

LOTS OF LOVE YOU HAVE MY HEART MINI | with Conny

Hi, it's Conny! Today, I'm sharing a mini album I created for my daughter Savanna. I used the Lots of Love collection to document her cute little face and let her know how much I love her with a special letter at the end. To make the album, you'll need three pieces of chipboard: - two covers measuring 6.5" x 5" - one spine measuring 6.5" x 1"
I started by wrapping the chipboard in the textured cardstock from the Lot of Love collection. Then, I used my sewing machine to add stitching to the covers. To bind the covers together, I used a piece of cardstock measuring 11" x 6 3/8". This also covers the chipboard on the inside of the album.
The binding is really easy - I used two standard eyelets at the top and bottom of the spine in the color pink and tied a stretchy string to keep the cards together. I got the cards from the Lots of Love coordinating card and envelopes assortment. The cards are 6 1/4" x 9" and scored at 4.5" on the longest side.
I just had a blast creating a heart shaker for the cover page of my project. To make it even more eye-catching, I spiced it up with some chit-chat, bits & pieces, and sprinkles. It looks stunning now!
Inside the album, I used some pretty patterned cardstock paper from the collection. I added my favorite photos and some fun embellishments to each page to make it pop! I hope my project inspires you to get creative and make something special too!
We can't wait to see what you create using the Lots of Love Collection.  Xoxo

LOTS OF LOVE SHADOWBOX MINI ALBUM | With Traci

Hello friends!  I hope everyone enjoyed Valentine's Day yesterday! If you took a couple pictures, I have a fun mini album to share with you today!  And even if you don't have Valentine pictures, this would be a fun project for any photos of people you love!

For this album, I used the adorable Lots of Love Shadowbox kit and an 8x8 Acrylic Artsy Album.  I really enjoyed creating the cover!  It's very relaxing to place each of the pieces using the simple template, and I love the texture it gives to the front of my album.

For the page above, I added a nice big photo mat to the pretty All My Love paper, and embellished with Bits & Pieces, Odds & Ends, and Chit Chat.  I love the little tags and chunky twine sticking up over the top!

More Bits & Pieces helped give the next page the feeling of a photo being tucked into a bouquet of flowers.  There's even a tag for journaling or a sweet sentiment.

It wouldn't be one of my minis without a pocket!  I added a little shine to this one with the rainbow and heart shaped sprinkles from the Love Is In the Air pack, and then I tucked in cards, journaling spots, and a photo mat.

This page includes one of Doodlebug's cute bubblegum envelopes, a pocket for more tags, and a Bouquet of Love Doodle-Pops! So much texture and dimension on this fun page!

I really love this page.  Since the page itself is 8"x8", I was able to adhere a full sheet of 6x6 paper to the center.  I used the sheet with all of the little cut apart cards and turned 11 of them into little photo mats.  I think lots of tiny pictures will look so cute here!

That little birdhouse hanging from the limb so tooo cute!  It's from the Odds & Ends die cuts, and so is that colorful rainbow.  Hearts and scallops and stripes on one die cut? Yes please!

I layered the mailbox die cut over the one on the front of the 3x4 card to add some dimension to the page above.  That card is also a flippie so extra photos can be tucked inside -- 4 photos on one page! I love that!

I hope you have "Lots of Love" for my mini album and will consider incorporating the shadowbox kit into the cover of your next album!  Until next time, happy crafting!

LOTS OF LOVE - LOVE YOU LAYOUT | with Tarrah

Hey creative friends! What do you get when you cross red, pink and blue together? The gorgeous Lots of Love collection by Doodlebug Designs that's what! I absolutely LOVE this colour combination and find it really easy to work with!!

I cut out 3 heart shapes from the 6' x 6' paper pad using some dies from my stash, I added craft foam underneath and adhered them to a plain white cardstock background. I trimmed down the white cardstock and adhered it to the Love You Bunches patterned paper. I then machine-stitched a border around the edge. I placed my photo over the centre heart and then placed 2 of the banners and the Love die-cut below my photo all from the Chit Chat die-cut pack.

Do you love Doodle Pops?! I absolutely LOVE them and just had to add those super cute Love Bugs Doodle Pops sitting on top of the banners! I mean how cute are they?! I added some clusters of florals tucked into a few of the hearts and in the top left corner I placed the cute branch and birdhouse die-cut from the Chit Chat pack.

I really like adding the words and phrase stickers from the This and That sticker sheet to my projects, I like how they help tell my story as I don't journal on my pages much. I chose a few to be used on this page and I also added the blue xoxo heart sticker to the left hand heart and the floral heart sticker to the middle heart.

I placed a few small flowers and heart cluster die-cuts around the page to add some colour and interest to certain parts of the page. I also chose a few enamel dots in different colours too and added these for some extra dimension and colour.

I love the shadows and dimension that are created when I add elements to my projects when I use foam tape. You can see some of the shadows in the close-up photo below.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! Happy creating!

LOTS OF LOVE LAYOUT | with Lisa

We're almost back to Valentine's Day, so it's time to get those pink and red collections out of your drawers! :) This week I'm using Lots of Love for this cute Love layout.

I love to fussy cut things out of paper, so I decided to go with the Forever Flowers paper and relax a bit while cutting out a lot of little flowers. My idea was to create a heart with them.

At first, I wanted the heart to be straight and be in the center of the page but when I put my photo on top, I changed my mind and placed everything the way you see it on the page now.

When I had everything where I wanted it, I adhered my photo to a piece of white card stock and then to a piece of the Forever Flowers paper. I distressed the edges and laid the photo on the page without adhering it.

Then I started to place all of my little flowers, creating the shape of a heart.  I tried to keep the same distance between the left edge of the heart and the edge of the paper, as the right edge of the photo and the right edge of the paper. I love my things to be balanced... :)

I adhered the photo first, and then all of the flowers. I bent all of the flowers in the center to create dimension. Then I added tiny enamel hearts and jewels from the collection in the small gaps in between the flowers.

I just love how it looks!  It really turned out very cute. To give the layout more color,  I cut out 4 strips of paper from the Sprinkled with Love  paper to create a frame. I also used a fine black pen to add a scribbly line all around.

To finish, I added a title, three ladybug Doodle Pops and some gold splatters.

See you soon and happy Valentine's Day :)
