SNOW MUCH FUN CARD ASSORTMENT MINI ALBUM | with Conny

Hello there, It's Conny and I'm excited to share my latest mini album with you, created using the Snow Much Fun Collection. I incorporated acetate and the Snow Much Fun Assortment Cards and Envelopes to make it simple and easy.

I began with two chipboard pieces. One was used for the back cover while the other was for the spine. For the front cover, I used acetate. I wrapped the chipboard with blue polka dot side of the Snow Much Fun paper and added a little extra detail by stitching it.

To create the acetate cover, I cut a piece measuring 6.5" X 6" and scored it at 1.5". I stitched it to the outside of my spine using a sewing machine to keep it together. However, if you don't have one, you can still use your favorite glue that dries clear. To adhere the back cover to the spine, I used a piece of white cardstock measuring 4" X 6", scored at 1.5", and added the 1.5" to adhere it to the spine using your favorite glue.

I used cards and envelopes to create pages for my project. To hold the cards in place, I used hinges that measured 5" X 3". I scored them at 1" and 2". Additionally, I used another piece that measured 1" X 5" and scored it at 1/2". I adhered it to the middle of the first hinge and then placed the hinges in the middle of the spine.

I added double-sided tape to both sides of the hinges, then adhered the cards and envelopes to create pockets or flip-open designs.  Next I started the fun by adding embellishments and decorating! For the cover page, I kept it simple and used Hello Winter Doodle-Pops along with a few gems.

I can't wait to see what you all create using the Snow Much Fun Collection! Take care and see you all soon. XO, Conny.

SNOW MUCH FUN SNOWFLAKE WREATH LAYOUT | with Erica

Looking for a fun way to use the new Snow Much Fun Frosty Flurry Doodle Cuts?

Why not create a colorful wreath of layered snowflakes! I used snowflakes that were leftover from my first layout using the Snow Much Fun collection to create this wintery layout!

I started by layering up the die cut snowflakes and then traced a large circle onto the Frosted Friends 12x12 pattern paper that I trimmed down to 11x11. I used one of my favorite stamp sets to create some splatter marks around the circle Next I matted the pattern paper onto some black textured cardstock and then onto the All Bundles Up paper. Next I adhered the die cut snowflakes around the circle in the center of the page.

Once all my snowflakes were down onto the layout I added my photos that I matted onto some pattern paper from the 6x6 Snow Much Fun paper pad. I adhered my photos down with some foam adhesive. For my title I picked one of the Snow Much Fun chit chat pieces and place to the left of my photos.

Then I created embellishment clusters to the left of the title piece and then to the right of my photos. I used Snow Much Fun odds & ends, shape sprinkles and stickers from the 12x12 sticker sheet.

To finish off my layout I used some white acrylic paint to add splatters all around the snowflake wreath. I reminds me of snow and I love how it turned out!

For the snowflake centers I added matching sprinkles! Here is a look at my completed layout using the Snow Much Fun collection!

SNOW MUCH FUN LAYOUT | with Traci

Hey guys! Today I have a cute project to share with you. I'm guessing that everyone has taken some fun winter photos by now. So, I have a 12x12 layout idea that's would be perfect for them. I designed this page with the wonderful Snow Much Fun Collection and I'm loving all the pretty colors and prints!

12x12 Snow Much Fun Winter Circle Layout by Artsy Albums

To start, I used the beautiful 12x12 plaid paper called Ice Crystals as the base, then layered some plain white card stock on top.

Next, I grabbed a bunch of circle punches
(3", 2.5", and 2") and picked out a colorful mix of 12x12 pattern papers. I punched the different sized circles out and laid them in a circular pattern. I added the "snow place like home" piece from the Chit Chat and the Brrrrr tab from the This & That sticker sheet.

I matted my 2 photos with the pistachio colored Snow Happy Together snowflake print and some white card stock and added them to the page, overlapping onto some of the circles. Then, I added the adorable little purple house and tree mini icon stickers.

12x12 Snow Much Fun Winter Layout with snowflakes, circles, and a cute yeti abominable snowman

And finally, I had "snow much fun" embellishing this page! I used some pretty snowflake and flower
die cuts from the Bits & Pieces, some mini jewels, lots of the snowflake shape sprinkles, and of course ... some colorful little enamel dots!

This Snow Much Fun Collection is awesome and perfect for all kinds of projects. I've already made 2 scrapbook mini albums and this layout. Hmmm, I may need to check my stash and restock! So much cuteness ... so little crafting time, lol!

SNOW MUCH FUN SNOW COLD LAYOUT | with Brianna

Hey friends! Brianna Lepper here with you today and I'm kicking off this week with another layout using the gorgeous Snow Much Fun collection. Here's my page:

I love creating a snowy effect using white paint, so I thought it would be fun to use the Beetle Black Cardstock from the Snow Much Fun Solid Assortment 12x12 Pack as the base for my layout. I love the effect of the bright white paint against the dark background. It really makes everything pop off of the page. I sprayed my white acrylic paint a few times and then even added in some Distress Oxide Ink Spray in Speckled Egg. I then trimmed down the black cardstock and matted it with the Snow Much Fun 12x12 patterned paper.

Next, I went through the Bits & Pieces pack and pulled out all of the circle elements. I had this idea of arranging them on my background and using each one for my photo, title and embellishments. I popped them all up on foam tape and adhered them to my page.

Once I got my photos adhered down to two of the circles, I created my title using two of the Chit Chat Pieces. It perfectly on the larger view finder ephemera piece. I love how it looks!

I wanted to fill in some of the empty spaces between my circles so I went through the Chit Chat pack and pulled out a few more circle pieces and added those in. I also pulled out a few snowflakes from the Bits & Pieces pack to not only match my photos, but to also fill in the spaces. They really brought everything together!

This Snow Much Love Shaker-Pop was the perfect embellishment for this page. I love his belly full of glitter!!

Next, I adhered a few snowman stickers from the Mini Icons set and added in some of the puffy snowflakes from the Puffy Icons stickers. I'm really loving all of these pretty colors on top of my black background.

For a finishing touch, I put a few of the Sprinkles around the page and added in some tangled thread in coordinating colors. Here's one last look:

Thank you so much for stopping by today, I hope that I've inspired you in some way! I'll see you in my next post friends!

SNOW MUCH FUN TAG MINI | with Guest Designer Shara Crane

Hello, It's Shara Crane and I'm back with a fun Tag Flip for you!  I used the adorable Snow Much Fun collection to put it all together.  I've outlined my process below!

Follow these steps to make your very own Snow Much Fun Tag Flip! The supplies I used are listed below the post.

Step 1.Using the Freeze Tag page from the collection cut as many tags out that you with to include in your flip. I used two and hand cut another three tags. The tags I hand cut are all a little bit different in size as I like the way it looks…a little unorganized and messy once the tags are all put together to make the tag flip.

Step 2. Using the stickers, ephemera, sprinkles and Doodle Pops decorate your tags. I added hand stitching to one of the tags and backed it with another tag from the Freeze Tag page to hide the back of the stitching. I usually always back my tags, each tag is at least two pieces of paper thick. You can’t tell in photos but when you’re holding it in your hand there is something magical about the feel of thick paper decorated all cute and happy.

Step 3. Using the Crop-A-Dile punch holes at the top of your tags. The tags from the Freeze Tag page already have a guide spot, for any of the hand cut tags I just eyeballed it but if you would like to make sure it’s even use one of your Freeze Tag tags as a guide. Then set each hole with an eyelet. Once all your tags have been eyeleted (yep I just typed that LOL) open your hinged ring and feed your tags onto it.

Step 4. To make a cute tassel cut your scraps, ribbon, trim and or fabric into 5 in long strips (I didn’t use anything over half a inch thick). Lay them out one at a time in a large pile. Take one of the pieces, guide it under the pile in the middle and tie it really tight around all the trim. Pick up the now tied pile and fold it in half so the part that you tied is at the top. Now take a piece of trim or ribbon and tie that pile together about 1/2in away from the top. Tip the ends to make it even and then feed it onto the hinged ring.

Step 5. Making the beaded charm is a bit tricky and will require a technique called wire wrapping. You can also make paper beads or just string some beads and tie them to the hinged ring. This is just a little extra step in adding texture and detail to your tag flip.

Now the best part….flipping through your tag flip and smiling at what you have made. It’s a beautiful feeling enjoying ones art. Thank you for spending time with me and I hope you enjoyed the process. Until next time,  Xoxo.

SNOW MUCH FUN WINTER LAYOUT | with Tarrah

How cute are the penguins in the Snow Much Fun collection?! I just love them and had to include lots of the penguin Doodle Pops on my layout for today's share!

My background paper is the 'B' side of the Frosted Friends paper, I trimmed it down to measure roughly 11' x 11' inches and adhered it to the 'B' side of the Cold Streak paper. I then machine-stitched a border around the outside edge. I put my Silhouette Cameo machine to work creating a title in the software using the Impact font. I then offset this and cut out the offset part from white cardstock. I then cut each individual letter from a coloured coordinating textured cardstock.

I chose some of the papers from the 6' x 6' paper pad, cutting some of these into banner strips and adhering them vertically underneath my photo. I love how the layers look under my photo and how they add some dimension and different colours to my page. I placed craft foam underneath the cut file title and placed this at the base of my photo.

I tucked in one of the mountain die-cuts from the Odds and Ends pack to the right of my photo and layered some of the penguin Doodle Pops on top, I also added some small snowflakes here too. I  placed one of the phrase banners and the snowflake strip from the Chit Chat pack below the Winter cut file title. Some of the smaller embellishments I added were the small die-cut hearts, the Sprinkles that were mostly added to the centres of the snowflakes.

Lastly I added some sprinklings of white mist around the page and also stamped the date stamp too. I love how my layout turned out and hope you are inspired to create some snow filled winter pages using the super gorgeous Snow Much Fun collection.

Thanks so much for stopping by the Doodlebug blog today! Happy creating!

SNOW MUCH FUN SNOW COLD LAYOUT | with Lisa

Are you all having fun taking snow photos? Or is it Summer where you live right now? Well... I think everyone knows I'm a huge fan of Summer, but... when it snows and everything is white, I really love the atmosphere and calmness outside. This year, as soon as it looked like that, I took some photos in the snow to be ready for Winter layouts next year... :)

For this layout, which is kind of a matching layout to the one I made two weeks ago, I used another photo of that Winter wedding I went to a few years ago.

I used the super fun Snow Much Fun collection and created kind of a snowy scene with a big paper-pieced snowman and his friends. To start, I ripped pieces of the Snow Much Fun  and Frozen Flurries papers and used those for the hills and sky. I distressed the edges and then bent them over a bit to give them more texture. I love doing this, because the edges cast a small shadow on the paper and it really makes a big difference in the end result.

I created a paper pieced snowman using white cardstock and two pieces of patterned paper from the 6x6 paper pad. I love giving my paper pieced characters a black outline, so I did that on my snowman as well as on the other die cut pieces I chose, the Yeti and the snow fox.

I matted my photo on two rectangles of paper from the 6x6 paper pad and distressed those edges too. I added the photo to the layout and then started adding my cuties. From the Odds & Ends pack, I used the fox and Yeti and also some green trees. Then I used puffy snowmen heads, puffy snowflakes and puffy trees from the Puffy Icon Stickers.

I cut out two clouds from white paper to add to the sky and then added more snowflake stickers and some jewels. For my title I used the word "snow" from he Chit Chat pack and black Sunshine Alpha stickers to write the word "cold".

I'm not used to make layouts that have no pink in them but I really have to say that the colors of this collection are just tooooo cute!!! :) See you soon... this time back with pink layouts... can you guess the theme??? :)

SNOW MUCH FUN MINI BOOK | with Kathy

I'm back with another project using the absolutely marvelous Snow Much Fun collection.  The colors in this collection are my absolute favorite!  I decided to make a fun little flippy mini album to hold all those fun winter photos!  Take a peek...

I create the album cover using chipboard and covered it with papers from the collection.  My covers measure 4.75"h x 4"w  and my spine is about 1".  I decorated my cover with a little snowman shaker.  I used the Snow Cute Doodle Pop, and some of the new Heavy acetate along with some Doodlebug sequins for the shaker bits.  I added snowflake sprinkles both inside the shaker and on top for some dimension.  The album title is a banner piece from the Chit Chat pack.

Inside the album are three multi-folded pages I made using the coordinating Snow Much Fun Textured Cardstock.   They all fold out to make plenty of room for photos and journaling.  I got the idea for these pages from this video.

Once I had all my pages in place, I set to decorating them!  I started by covering each of the sections with patterned papers from the 12x12 collection kit. I then added photo mats on some of the pages and decorated them all using various Icon Stickers, This & That Stickers Odds & Ends, Chit Chats, Bits & Pieces and shaped sprinkles.  Here are all the pages pulled out so you can see all the fun embellishments.

I love how the folded pages give you plenty of room to document all your winter memories!  Since I think it's more fun to see it all "in action", I made a flip through video so you can see more!

That's it for me today, thank you for stopping by to peek!
