FARMHOUSE TREAT BAGS WITH BEE HAPPY TAGS | with Miguel

Making small gifts each season is something I really enjoy and even more so if they are done with beautiful Doodlebug collections. Today I made these little bags filled with pumpkin-flavored sweets to share using the Farmhouse collection and the fun Bee Happy Doodle Cuts!

I decorated each bag with tags I made using the Bee Happy Doodle Cuts.  I filled them with Bumblebee Shaker Balls, and I love the results!

I added some Odds & Ends and Chit Chat to my tags to decorate some more!

I tied my tags with different shades of Doodle Twine, which coordinated perfectly with the colors of the Farmhouse collection.

Thank you! for stopping by here, I say goodbye but not before inviting you to continue creating!

Hello crafty friends! Today I'm sharing my latest project using the gorgeous Hello Again collection! This collection has all sorts of happy feelings, once you start crafting with it, it brings a smile to your day, it's really so cheerful and sweet! Have you created with it yet? There is so much too love; from the darling ephemera to the sweet stickers - everything is just so pretty! Annnd....here is my project share! Paper totes!

So cute! They are made from the gorgeous 12x12 patterned papers with the mama tote measuring 5.25x3.25" and the baby one is super adorable at 4x 2.75" both with contrasting straps!

The bottom is sewn across to hold it sealed and as each tote is top loading, you can fill with candy, stickers, embellishments, gift cards and anything you're gifting! How about making these to store your creative bits and bobs!

Have you zoomed in on these pictures! Spot all the cute details friends :-) Can you see a little charmer? how about some mini tags sewn on pink foam sheets? How about the new gold sprinkles as the strap fasteners? So tiny!

I have created these totes each with a mini pocket on the front and popped some icon stickers onto foam tape and used like ephemera! I love the icon stickers so much, they are just so versatile, and I adore the size! Even better when they are mixed with the Odds & Ends ephemera.

Hope you've found inspiration today! Please remember to tag us in your Socials when you create with Doodlebug so we can all admire your creativity! We love seeing your creations. Thanks for stopping by y'all, until next time doodle dee!

BABY GIFT SETS | with Stephanie

Hello Doodlebug friends!  I am sharing another project today, again featuring both of the baby collections Special Delivery and Bundle of Joy. I have had so much fun creating cards and gift bags using these sweet little baby icons. For both cards and bags I used lots of Doodle Pop dimensional stickers as my focal point.  Here’s a look at the Special Delivery set:
The little critters are the cutest and of course steal the show, but the bag itself is a cut file I found at the Silhouette Design Store here.  I chose several 12 x12 pattern papers as well as matching petite prints to cut the different sections of the bag including the handles and pockets.  It has 3 pockets on the front and sides just large enough to put something small in each one.

Here’s a closer look at all the little goodies I was able to fit inside my 'diaper bag.’  All of the products are trial size and came in a box set which were a perfect fit for my bag.
And if I make make something using one collection it’s hard for me not to recreate something similar using the other collection.  So here’s my diaper bag and card using Bundle of Joy.

And finally here’s a little closer look at my cards.  I love using Doodle Pop stickers for cards, because let’s face it, they do all the hard work of making my projects “pop!”

For the base of the cards I used Doodlebug's assortment of card and envelope kits then layered two square and two circle die cut layers using 6x6 pattern papers.  The Welcome to the World sentiment comes from the 12x12 This and That Cardstock sticker sheet.

I think these make the sweetest cards and gifts to take to new parents complete with a little creative love and lots of Doodlebug cuteness!

Big Sticker Treat Bags | with Tya

Howdy there! Have you heard the term "Go Big, or Go Home"? Well, that saying was the inspiration for my post today. Its been a while since I played with my Silhouette and I was itching to make some stickers so I thought why not make some BIG stickers of some of my favorite "So Much Pun" icons? So here is what I came up with!

To make these, like I said, I downloaded a few shapes and pieced them together to make the shapes. I did a Print and Cut to make the stickers. It honestly was so easy ! When you open the files, they are already colored and everything for you, you just need to weld them all together to make the design all one piece! Here are the three I did:
Here are what they look like all printed out:
As you can see - the stickers I made are quite a bit bigger than the same shapes that come in the Odds and Ends! I was really happy with the size of these! They are going to fit great on my bags!
I cut 3 bags out using this file on my Silhouette out of some black cardstock. Here are some close ups of the bags. I used a few pieces of pattern paper from the So Much Pun Collection. I  also used some of the Chit Chat ephemera pieces. I tied some Chunky Black bakers twine to one of the handles.

Using cut files and then turning them into stickers is so much fun! I love how I can customize them to fit the project that I am doing. I hope that I have inspired you to make some of these fun bags for yourselves! Happy Crafting!

Christmas Town Tags & Bags | with Kathy

Christmas is officially 15 days away!  Hopefully you have some shopping done... I'm actually in good shape this year, mostly because all of the "kids" I need to purchase for are in their 20's and 30's and prefer gift cards!  I don't love giving gift cards, but sometimes they really are the perfect gift, so I've made it a point to wrap them in something special!  This year I decided to wrap them in cute bags with some tags made with the Christmas Town Odds & Ends Pieces.  I made the tags for the gift bags, but they could be used for any gift!

For the tags (and bags), I used a few different cut files from Lori Whitlock's 2 on 12x12 Tag Bag Bundle, but there are plenty of cut files and dies you could use, or even create your own tags using a trimmer and punches.  Once I cut the tags from the Dot Strip Petite Prints, the fun began!  I had fun making little scenes with the Christmas Town Odds & Ends, along with some of the different sprinkles.  Here are some close-ups...

I added a To/From stamp to the backs of the tags to add the recipients' names.  I topped them off with some Doodlebug Chunky Twine.

These tags could be used for any gift at this point.  I added them to some small bags from the cut files, and some papers from the Christmas Town Collection. I filled them with some treats and the cards!

Now I just have to finish putting up my tree so that I can place them under it!  Have you made any tags, or gift wrap with the Christmas Town Collection?  We would love to see them!  Make sure to tag @doodlebugdesign on Instagram and Facebook!  That's it for me today, thanks for stopping by to peek!

Off The Page Challenge: Fairy Tales Gift Bags by Wendy Sue

Happy Saturday Doodlebug friends! It's Wendy Sue here with you today, sharing the project I created for our team-wide "Off the Page" Challenge!  I love having cards, gift bags, and tags on hand so I can wrap a gift in a fun, unique way at a moment's notice.  I recently took note that my stash of gift bags for girls was getting really low - so I took this opportunity to stock up my stash!  Here's what I created using the darling "Fairy Tales" collection:

Let me show you some of the details!  I used patterned papers, including the 4x4 cards on each bag.  On this one, I really wanted to use those sparkly rainbow sprinkles, they are just too cute!

Don't you agree?

Here's the next bag - I used some cute heart sprinkles in place of the raindrops below the clouds.

Speaking of clouds, I layered several different types and I love how they just pop right off the bag:

And finally, the cutest dang cupcake doodle-pop ever is the star of this bag:

I hope you've been inspired by our team over the last few weeks to take these adorable Doodlebug products to a new level, off the page, and create some fun projects for yourself!  Thanks for popping in - have a great weekend!
