HEY PUMPKIN LIL' PUMPKIN LAYOUT | with Brianna

Hey friends! Brianna Lepper here and as we are quickly closing up the Summer season... Spooky season is upon us!! The new Hey Pumpkin collection is adorable and I have so many pumpkin photos to go with it! Here's my page:

To start, I chose the Jolly Jack-O-Lanterns 12x12 paper as my base and then grabbed the citrus green cardstock from the coordinating cardstock pack and trimmed it down to an 11x11. I wanted a bit more patterned paper so I pulled the Hey Pumpkin paper, trimmed it down to a 10x10 and stacked that on top. I wanted to do some ink blending, so I trimmed a piece of white cardstock to a 9x9 size and adhered it to all of the paper layers. Using some Distress Oxide Inks in coordinating colors, I did some simple ink blending right in the center of my page. I also added in a few large white ink splatters as well.

The Halloween Night Shakers bottle is ADORABLE and I needed to use it on this page. I took one of the circle elements from the Bits & Pieces pack and punched a hole right in the center. I adhered a piece of clear acetate to the backside of it and then applied some thin foam strips around the permitter. I poured in the Shakers mix and sealed the shaker using a piece of vellum. It turned out so cute!!

Next, I went through the Doodle-Pops and chose the Pumpkin Patch one and adhered it to the bottom right of my photo. I had already matted my photo using one of the 6x6 patterned papers. I also tucked in one of the phrase flags from the Chit Chat pack into the Doodle-Pop.

To match my shaker, I needed a few more circular elements so I pulled one from the Bits and Pieces pack and another from the 12x12 Cardstock Sticker sheet. I added in a few of the Puffy Icons stickers and it all looks so cute layered up together like that!

Next, I started sprinkling in a few more smaller pieces for extra color and interest into each cluster. I pulled in more Puffy Icons, a few Cardstock Stickers, one of the cute pumpkins from the Hey Pumpkin Shape Sprinkles and some florals from the Odds & Ends Pack.

Here's one last look at this cute page:

Thank you so much for stopping by today, hope that I've inspired you in some way! Y'all have to add this adorable collection to your stash! It's just too cute!

SEASIDE SUMMER BEACH FUN LAYOUT | with Nathalie

There is nothing more relaxing that a beach vacation.   The sea, the salty air, the beautiful landscape, the food;  but all these are better enjoyed when you are there with your loved ones.   The new Seaside Summer collection is just so colorful, cute, and perfect to document all those memories of your vacation.   Let me show you my first project with the collection.

I just love the wave design in the Surf's Up paper.  So, I fussy cut a few strips to create my "wave" design on the page.

Since the picture showcases my family at the shore, I wanted to find a way to define the water space.  The best option, to use  white cardstock as the "land" for my page.   So, I trimmed the page to 11x11 and attached it to Beach Blvd. paper.

And to construct the sky, I used a stencil and some ink to add a few clouds to the top right corner of the page.   The Sun Doodle Pop was just perfect for this corner of the page.  Just added a few clouds and ready to go!

Next was all about creating my "waves".   I glued the fussy cut paper strips to cover the bottom of the page.   There are so many cute embellishments, that I wanted to just bring some of them to the page, and added a small sea scene next to the title.  To finish, I just added a few splatters of white ink and more colorful sprinkles.

How cute are all those embellishments!  and perfect to bring life to your beach memories.  I hope this inspires you to document your sea adventures using the new SEASIDE SUMMER collection.  Cannot wait to see what you create!  XO

CUTE & CRAFTY EAT-SLEEP-CRAFT-REPEAT LAYOUT | with Lisa

Who loves rainbow layouts? :)  I think we all do, right? The new Cute & Crafty collection is not only perfect to document your crafty memories, but also has the most perfect rainbow colors ever. One of the patterned papers especially caught my eye and I absolutely wanted to use it for my next layout...

This rainbow paper is just so pretty and I wanted to create a pretty layout with it. I always like these striped papers and mostly I use them in a horizontal direction. For this one, I wanted to change it and used it vertically. I cut off one of the colors (sadly...;)) and the borders to have a square page and adhered it to a white paper and one of the floral patterned papers to create a beautiful frame.
Then I stitched around it.

To give my rainbow stripes more texture, I stitched a lot of tight zig-zag lines horizontally and vertically, with white thread. Then I took my gelatos and a baby wipe and added some color, to deepen some areas on the paper. It colored the thread as well and this gave the background even more interest.

I went through the Bits & Pieces die cuts and chose the flowers I wanted to use. I placed them on the layout until I was happy with the result. I matted my photo with different patterned papers and adhered it to the background using foam tape.

Then I attached all of the flowers, after distressing the edges, using liquid glue for some and foam squares for others. For the title, I used one of the die cut words and alpha stickers in gold and pink.

From the Odds & Ends die cut pieces, I used five embroidery thread spools in different colors and adhered them to the matching colored stripes. I embellished the flowers with jewels and enamel dots and also used some other little embellishments to finish the page.
I added gold splatters at the end and that was it. I love how colorful and bright the layout is and I love to work with this collection!! :)

Thank you so much for stopping by!

FAIRY GARDEN HELLO SPRING LAYOUT | with Lisa

I don't know about you all, but I love the new Fairy Garden collection. It's perfect to document your Easter and spring photos but it really can be used for anything at all, as long as you want to create something bright and fun and happy... ;)  Here's my first layout created with this pretty collection,

When I first got the collection, the big die cut flowers immediately jumped to my eyes. I knew I wanted to assemble them, hand-stitch them and use them as big embellishments on my page. So I did! :)  I love the size of them, they are big but not too big and they have the perfect flower shapes and colors.

I needed a cool background for my fun flowers, so I thought it would be fun to create a kind of woven pattern, like a basket, to put my flowers onto. I cut approximately 1/2 and 1/4 inch stripes from a lot of patterned papers and then ripped them in two to have smaller pieces. Then I wove them together and adhered them in two opposite corners.

Then I wanted to make it more distressed and give it more texture and dimension, so first I went over some parts with gesso and watercolors and then I stitched over some of the stripes with straight and zig-zag stitches. I love how that turned out.  It was finally time to adhere my flowers to my page. I attached them using thick foam squares. After that, I used the leaves that were included in the same pack as the flowers, I shaded and distressed the edges and added them to the layout.

I matted my photo with some scraps of patterned paper and then also added it to the layout. For my title, I used a word die cut saying "Hello" and some Abigail alpha stickers to write the word "Spring".  To make the layout cuter, I went through all of the embellishments to choose the ones I wanted to add. I love that part and Doodlebug collections always have so many choices... :)  I added some glitter enamel dots, jewels, enamel shapes (Sprinkles), die cut pieces and a flower clip. To finish I sprinkled some gold ink.

I hope you like the layout and are inspired to create beautiful projects with this super cute collection.  Thank you for stopping by, see you soon.
