PETITE PRINTS AND PUPPIES | With Traci

Hello my crafty friends! Traci here and today, I'm sharing four 8x8 layouts that I made using the brand new Petite Prints and embellishments from the Doggone Cute Collection. I have many Storybook albums that I love to add pages to periodically. Recently, I took new photos of my son, daughter-in-law, and their sweet pup, so ... it's time for some cute pet pages!

I'm having so much fun with the Plaid-Polka Dot & Candy Stripe-Sprinkles Petite Prints. They go with everything! For these layouts, I chose the blue jean, ladybug, bumblebee, and limeade colors.

For interest, I like to mix up the page protectors in my albums and this one has a great spot at the top for a title. I used the playful polka dot as the background, then added pieces from the Chit Chat and Odds & Ends.

Here, I created a grid of cuteness! I layered the four different petite prints with lots of embellies. I added the Alphabet Soup puffy letter stickers in limeade to match the cute little pocket, then tucked 2 tags inside it from the Bits & Pieces. Don't you love that everything Doodlebug is made within their specific color palette? From paper, stickers, die cuts, twine, and even washi tape!

And speaking of which ... I created a grid on this next layout using the red and white Mini Dot Washi Tape. It goes perfectly with the red polka dot print on the other pages. I added a little scene at the bottom with die cut pieces and enamel sprinkles. I just love the hydrant, the tuft of grass, and the heart over the door. Cute detail!

For this last page, I made one large photo mat and I backed it with 3 rows of polka dots for a touch of pattern and color. The paw print piece is from the Chit Chat and I added a few enamel dots to it for fun.

Here's a peek at my Storybook Album. I love the 8x8 size but it also comes in 12x12. If you haven't had a chance to play with the new Petite Prints yet, I highly recommend them! The rainbow assortment pack includes 24 different colors and each sheet is double-sided. If you love scrapping as much as I do ... you'll use them all the time! 😉

LOTS OF LOVE FEBRUARY MONTHLY SCRAPBOOK PAGES | with Traci

Hello everyone! Today, I'm sharing the February layouts I made for Rylee's 8x8 Storybook Album. Each month, I make 4 new pages that highlight a few of my granddaughter's special moments. I used the adorable Lots of Love collection and it's perfect for highlighting sweet photos of loved ones and Valentine's Day.

My first page is all about these gorgeous flowers from the bits and pieces so, I kept the layout simple. I started with the Dot and Stripe in Swimming Pool and layered white paper and the Love You Bunches print on top. The blue gingham tab, the "always" and the "memories" are from the This and That sticker sheet.

I added the colorful flowers and leaves to span the width of the page and used foam adhesive under a few for dimension. Then, for a little shine ... I added some little enamel shape sprinkles & dots. My favorites!!

For my next page I layered 3 pretty 12x12 prints and chose some cute die cuts from the Odds and Ends to decorate. I love the little bear with his bow tie and Valentine in hand. The XOXO is from the Chit Chat.

I left white space along the top to highlight more fun shaped die cuts and used the My Type alpha stickers to create the Feb. '22 title. I love the enamel hearts and little rainbow in the corner. The Hello Beautiful is from the This and That.

Oh my gosh, this page! I love all the rainbows, the prints and that pretty pink paper. With space for 4 photos, it's perfect for pictures of Rylee at school, with friends or at home with her little brother. I used a 3x4" card from the Plaid You're Mine paper to make a little folding card. So cute!

I like mixing pattern sizes. So, I used the smaller rainbow print (from the 6x6 paper pad) on the photo mats and a
strip of larger rainbows (from a 12x12 print) along the bottom. The little envelope die cut finished it off.

In this last photo, I used a 4x4 page protector and more of the smaller 6x6 prints. I created a fun little pocket in the upper right corner that holds a few die cuts. You can journal on these. Just turn them over and write sweet messages, dates, names, or locations on the back side.

On the bottom left corner, I added a 3x3 envelope in bubblegum and covered it with a journaling card and a pretty flower print. On the inside, I made a small pull-out mat for a photo and added 2 rainbow shape sprinkles back to back to use as a tab. So cute!

I hope these pages inspire you to create something wonderful with the Lots of Love collection. The pretty colors and images are sure to make you happy!

LET IT SNOW MONTHLY SCRAPBOOK PAGES | with Traci

Hey friends! Today, I'm sharing 4 new scrapbook pages I made for my granddaughter's monthly 8x8 Storybook Album. I used the new Let It Snow collection and I'm so in love with it. The winter Christmas theme was perfect for my December layouts.

On my first page, I used the 12x12 Merry and Bright print as the base and created 4 rectangular mats with the Tis The Season paper and white card stock. I added folding cards to 2 of them and a December title using white My Type alpha stickers.

For the other two spaces, I added fun die cuts from the Odds and Ends. The adorable snow globe with the reindeer is my favorite one. And no page is complete without some sweet little enamel sprinkles!

The second page uses one of Doodlebug's page protectors that has 3 spaces. I trimmed a journaling card from the Sweet Santa paper and put it in the tall vertical space. Perfect for a note to Santa or a Christmas list.

I created a folding card and added the Santa Clause phrase from the Chit Chat. I love folding cards. Not only do they double your photo space, but they make your pages fun and interactive!

I always try to combine the 12x12 and 6x6 pattern papers. It's fun to mix and match the different sizes and I think the layouts are more interesting. You can see I used the smaller print on the folding element above.

I love these colors. The ladybug red and swimming pool blue are my absolute favorite so this collection was perfect for me!

At the top, I added a photo mat from the Holiday Dots paper and a band filled with shiny enamel heart shaped sprinkles. So colorful!

On the bottom,
I included a few more items like Santa, a Christmas tree and a scalloped circular mat for a small photo. I cut the white scallop shape using a 3.5" punch and the inside circle using a 3" punch.

With the little penguins and the white snowflake background paper (called North Pole), I think this page would be really cute for photos of Rylee playing in the snow. Now, I just hope we get some!

I made the large mat a super handy pocket. I added a few colorful tags and a small journaling card from the Bits and Pieces (love these!) for notes or dates. And did you notice ... more cute sprinkles!

I finished this page by adding the Playful Penguins Doodle-pops. Rylee is going to LOVE these precious 3D stickers. They're so fun!

Thanks for stopping by! If you'd like to see the other months in this album, all using Doodlebug collections visit: January, February, March, April, May, June, July, August and November.

GREAT OUTDOORS MONTHLY POCKET PAGES | with Traci

Hello everyone! Today, I'm sharing some fun new layouts I made for my granddaughter's 8x8 Storybook Album. I used the new Great Outdoors collection and it was just perfect for my November pages. Each month, I create 4 new layouts to save our fun memories and I love the way these turned out.

Here is a great example of the light, bright and happy colors in this fall collection. I love the contrast with the brown from the November title and the adorable Bruce (the Moose, lol). I love him.

I added lots of fall colored trees from the Odds and Ends and embellished them with some pretty jewels. Every girl needs a little sparkle!

More fun 12x12 patterned papers with the lovely Wild Flowers print. Flowers on one side and the pretty plaid on the reverse!

I admit ... I can be a bit of a Doodle-pops hoarder but I couldn't wait to add a few to Rylee's sweet pages. Here I chose the adorable beaver called Nutty Buddy and a few smiling bees from Honey Bear.

This page was fun! I made a grid with the Campfire Plaid washi tape and filled in some of the spaces with a colorful dot paper. Then embellished with die cut pieces from the Chit Chat, This and That and Odds and Ends. So many goodies to play with!

Speaking of goodies ... Wouldn't you love to know how Cynthea comes up with the clever names for her products? Like this adorable polka dot print called Camping Spots. Lol, so funny!

For this last page, I used the Petite Prints Dot and Stripe in Swimming Pool for the background. It's probably my favorite Doodlebug color and I love it with this fall collection.

Did you see I added a few of my favorite, cutie patootie shape sprinkles here and there? Oh, how I love them! The teeny tiny frog sitting with the bear on page 3 and this wee little owl. Precious!

Thanks for stopping by! If you'd like to see the other months in this album, all using Doodlebug collections visit: January, February, March, April, May, June, July, August.

SIMPLY SPRING | 8x8 Storybook Album layouts with Traci

I'm working on a new album for my granddaughter and thought you might like to take a peek inside. I haven't gotten the journaling finished yet, but I love how this 8x8 Doodlebug Storybook Album is coming together!

I chose a white album so that all of the yummy Doodlebug color would really pop off the pages.
I used white card stock as the base of each page and then layered adorable Simply Spring pattern paper, odds and ends, and of course, sprinkles (my #1 favorite Doodlebug embellishment)!
I also used stickers from the This & That and icon sheets.

The die cut suns from the odds & ends pack made perfect little scallop circles for my journaling spots! And I love the multi-colored lined paper in this collection ... it's perfect for journaling!

I went a little sprinkles happy on these layouts!! (Love)
The photo above is one of my all-time favorite family photos with Rylee.  It captures her personality perfectly ... marching away from her mommy, daddy, and grandparents with a silly smile!

Did you know that Doodlebug has pocket pages for their albums too?  I love the 4x4 divided pages.  They make scrapping lots of photos super quick and easy!
Well, that's it for me today.  Once I add more pages to this album, I'll post them over on my blog so I'd love for you to follow me there, on Facebook, or on Instagram.  Until then, have fun with Simply Spring!!

Sugar Shoppe: Simply Put Pocket Page Layout

Hi everyone! Jodi here today to share with you some Simply Put pages that I have been working on using the Sugar Shoppe Collection.  The Simply Put cards make it so fun and easy to create fast and beautiful pages! I decided awhile back that I would start creating theme albums to help keep certain holidays and occasions together.  I have now started a few, but when the Sugar Shoppe Collection came out I knew that I wanted to document my oldest daughters Little Spa Birthday Party!  I created two double pages to add into her album.  Here is the first double page:

I used the 12 X 12 Storyteller pages, and started to add some patterned paper and simply put cards.  The best thing about these cards is you can leave them as is, since they are already SUPER cute, or you can add some embellishments too!  Here is the left side of the page:

On the horizontal Simply Put card in the middle, I added some Sprinkles on the same color dots, and added a little title too!  Do not be afraid of added some washi tape and stickers to your photos too for added detail!

Here is the right side of the page:

I used three Simply Put cards on this side! The calendar card, I added the date, but also decided that I should add an embellishment on top, so I added a sticker balloon from the icon sticker sheet  and added a twine string to it!

My next double page:

Some details from this page:

The Simply Put Card with the cupcakes could be used for journaling but I decided to spruce it up with some sticker cupcakes and of course a sequin for added sweetness! My favorite on this page was the way I used the treat bags! I sometimes have extra photos that I want to include but I do not have room for on my pages! The treat bags are an awesome addition to any storybook page as you can add as many extra photos as you wish:

Here is the right side of this page:

Lots of photos on here too!  I added more balloon stickers and added some stickers to my photos to finish it up!

I hope you enjoyed my storybook pages! They were so much fun to create and this collection is perfect for any little girl (or big girl) birthday!
