SIMPLY SPRING Planner Pages | with Jomelle

Hello Spring! I am so ready for you. It has been raining in Southern California lately that I don't think we're still in drought. I know that we need the rain and it makes everything green and beautiful instead of being dry and so brown.
Simply Spring Collection helped me get out of this funk of having a gloomy weather. When I look at all of these beautiful embellishments I can honestly say "Now this is what Doodlebug is all about" The vivid and lively colors makes everything so beautiful, don't you agree?
As always, the side view makes me giddy. I love using different papers for my cover inserts and I love layering odds & ends.
You probably know me by now, I love creating fun insert covers for my Daily Doodles TN. Even though Doodlebug inserts come in so many pretty colors, I still love to decorate my front cover. It makes it more exciting whenever I open my TN.
Butterflies, birds, bees, flowers and even snails brings joy in my planner pockets.
Before the pen weekly layout. I used the "teensy type" numbers and alphas to create my days and dates of the week. I then added stickers and washi tapes. I really like the grass washi on the bottom of the page.
Up close view. I love how simple the pages are but still looks so fun.
I adore these super cute paper clips.
Simply Spring has so many fun and colorful elements for you to work with to create your perfect Spring projects.
I don't know about you but this set up screams "Doodlebug" all they way!
This Spring set up makes me so happy despite all the rain and the gloomy weather we are having lately here in Southern California. Thank you for stopping by and I hope I was able to inspire you with my Spring Planner set up.

SIMPLY SPRING - Stamped Card Trio | with Barbara

Hello again, Barbara here with some cards using the Simply Spring collection and the new polymer stamps Flower Girl and Oh, Boy!
For my first card, I started by sponging a sky and grass background with dye ink. The images--from both sets--were stamped with Copic friendly ink on Doodlebug smooth white card stock, colored with Copic markers, and fussy cut out before being adhered with foam tape. The clouds are from the Simply Spring Mini Icon sheet with some card stock behind for strength, then popped up on foam. The sentiment strip is from Simply Spring Chit Chat and also adhered with foam tape.
For my second card I went CAS (clean and simple). To begin, I added a strip of paper from Simply Spring 6 x 6 patterned paper pad, then added a strip of black card stock. Next I stamped up a bunch of the bee image from Oh, Boy! Stamp Set with Copic friendly ink, colored with Copic markers and cut out. I chose the large die cut sentiment from Simply Spring Chit Chat and planned my "layout" around it. I stamped the sentiment, also from Oh, Boy! Stamp Set. then adhered a white panel with foam tape, then adhered the images, again also with foam tape. I finished off with Beetle Black and Bumblebee Sprinkles.
For my third card, I first covered a white card stock card base with paper from Simply Spring 6 x 6 patterned paper in the blue wood grain pattern. Then I cut a white card stock card front, cut it with a circle die, and popped it up on the base with foam tape, then added some strips of patterned paper across the bottom of the circle. Images were stamped with Copic friendly ink, colored with Copic markers, fussy cut and arranged in and around the circle. The sentiment was stamped on patterned paper that I cut out after tracing a Chit Chat speech bubble on it. I wanted something besides white for this and it worked out great. To finish off I added some Sprinkles in Lilac, Limeade, and Bubblegum.

And that's it from me. Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you've gotten some inspiration to use YOUR new Oh, Boy! and Flower Girl stamp sets and Simply Spring collection.

SIMPLY SPRING Stamped Layout | with Tegan

Since Doodlebug Design released their adorable stamp sets, stamping on my layouts has been my new favorite technique. I had so much fun creating this colorful stamped rainbow to coordinate with the Simply Spring collection! The mix of flowers, cute insects, and spring colors in this collection make me so happy! Bring on spring!

Creating the rainbow was not only fun, but super easy! I used the Doodlebug Design Rainbow with Clouds cut file to first cut out all the arches of the rainbow from scrap paper. I then lined them up on my layout and traced each arch with a pencil. I then used the small flower from the Simply Spring Flower Girl Stamp set to stamp inside the arches. I gently erased the pencil lines when I was done.

All of the stamps in this stamp set are so very cute! I can't wait to use more of the images from this set. Once my rainbow was colored in, I embellished the page with an Odds & Ends cloud shape and sun shaped Doodle Pop.

I used fun pieces from the Odds & Ends pack, the Chit Chat pack, and Lilac Abigail Alphabet stickers to make the title. Of course I had to use some Bubblegum Doodle Twine as the string for my banner.

I finished the page with this adorable girl Odds & Ends die cut and May Flowers Doodle Pops. A lady bug from the Little Critters Sprinkles is taking a stroll in the girl's garden.

Thanks for joining me today! I hope I have inspired you to get creative with Doodlebug Design stamps on your next layout or project!
