IT'S ALL RAINBOWS & UNICORNS | with Kathy

Not much makes me happier than a Doodlebug Rainbow... with the possible exception of a rainbow with a unicorn thrown in!  So it's no surprise that I immediately fell in love with the adorable Rainbows & Unicorns Doodle Stamps & Dies!  I decided to add the stamped images to a fun rainbow window slider  card.  Take a peek...

The card lays flat for mailing, but when you pull the slider tag back, it reveals the sentiment!  I edited a cut file from Lori Whitlock to make the rainbow slider part, then pieced it all together with a rainbow of Doodlebug Papers!  Here is a close-up...

I love how the rainbow forms when you  pull back the slider!  Of course I had to add some Glitter Sprinkles!
Have you made anything using our Rainbows & Unicorns Stamps?  Be sure to tag Doodlebug Design on Facebook & Instagram, we would love to see your creations!  That's it for me today, thanks for stopping by to peek!

STAMPING ON LAYOUTS | with Caroli

I used to be a mom of an adorable girl for so long, and when I knew I was pregnant again - and this time with a boy - my heart exploded of happiness.

I was warned by friends that life totally changes being mom of a boy, and oh boy, how true is that! Being the mom of a little mister is such a blast, he is so funny, always makes me laugh and warms my heart when he gives me flowers or kiss me goodbye when leaving to school.

I made this layout to document this love, the love of my life.
I wanted to create something different so I used a big circle shaped cut file and backed it with this lovely flowery patterned paper. The, I dared to get out of my comfort zone and used some stamps on my page, around the circle cut file. I combined the stamping with lots of different Shape Sprinkles, I love the result!
For the title I used my electronic cutting machine and free font Better Together and also some Teensy Typo stickers alpha.

I even got to use some embellishments from the Odds & Ends package and a Doodle Pop, I love all the volume this embellishment cluster has!

I am so satisfied with the result of this page, it was so easy to do and I used stamps!! I feel so proud of myself, lol!
I hope you liked this idea and give it a try, thank you for stopping by today here, see you on a next post!

DOODLE-POPS CHRISTMAS IN JULY TAGS | with Nathalie

Since I have been having so much fun with the Christmas Town collection this month, I am back today with another Christmas in July project. I decided to create a series of gift tags featuring Doodle-pops which are truly perfect for cards and tags. Not only do they add instant depth to your projects but they are always super cute!

I started with basic cardstock in five different colors which I cut into tags manually (measuring 2.5x4.75 inches). I also picked 5 packs of Doodle-pops, one for each tag.
I then decorated each tags with a mix of patterned papers, all from the 6x6 Christmas Town stack, stickers, die-cuts from the same collection and various embellishments. I worked on each one individually as I wanted them to look different.

I also paid special attention to textures and dimension adhering some of the stickers and sentiments on foam dots, using sequins and heart Sprinkles, and adding cute paperclips or clothespin. My most used metal die is the hole reinforcer from the Pill Better set and I pulled it out again to cut some out of patterned paper (see above). I love them so much better than plain office ones!

Matching chunky twines finish the look. I am so happy with these tags! They will adorn simply wrapped Christmas presents beautifully! Of course, they would also make a great gift by themselves!

Thank you for stopping by! As always, if you have questions, you can contact me via my blog or Instagram account. Happy crafting!
