Happy Tuesday Doodlebug friends! It's Traci and I'm happy to be back on Doodlebug's blog today. For my Here Comes Santa Claus project, I decided to take my favorite project and shrink it down a bit to create an album ornament for my Christmas tree.
I used two pieces of 4.25" x 5.25" white chipboard for the front and back covers, and then made white card stock pages for the inside. I used a Here Comes Santa Claus 6x6 paper pad to cover each page, and then loaded the album up with stickers and Odds & Ends die cuts.
I punched two small holes at the top and used chunky twine to bind the album and hang it on my tree. I love finding unique ways to include pictures on my Christmas tree, and I can't wait to add this little album this year! Stop by Artsy Albums and say hi sometime!

10/24 Doodlebug Cut File Release: Here Comes Santa Claus with Wendy Sue Anderson
We are super excited to introduce you to this week's fun new images released today in the Lori Whitlock Shop and the Silhouette Shop. We've provided you with links to both types of files. And we've teamed up with the amazing Wendy Sue Anderson. She's created an amazing project featuring the cut files released today, simple keep scrolling....
Hi friends! It's Wendy Sue here with you today - and I am excited to be invited back today to share my latest little Christmas project. I, like all of you, just about fell off my chair with excitement when I heard about the Doodlebug Silhouette shapes - so you can bet I was absolutely thrilled to be asked to share a project featuring one of my favorite shapes! It took me a while to narrow down my list of ideas and focus on just one to share with you today - so I hope I chose wisely! I'm sharing my Christmas countdown!
I love the idea of Santa flying around, watching the kids to make sure they are being NICE (not naughty) each day until Christmas arrives. Every night, we can unclip one of the numbers until the big day finally arrives! It would also be fun to make this into a type of advent calendar by writing an activity on the back of each number. I may have to add some fun activity ideas to my countdown before December arrives.
In the meantime, I'm counting down the days until I can hang this cute Santa up on the wall to stay!
Thanks so much, Doodlebug, for the opportunity to visit again, and share my "Here Comes Santa Claus" Silhouette project with you and your awesome blog readers!

I used the "Santa in Airplane" Silhouette Cut File to create this fun countdown calendar!
Of course, I used the "Here Comes Santa Claus" papers and embellishments to dress up this cute Santa & Plane!
Instead of cutting out the banner flying behind the plane, I opted to cut out 25 little banner flags, and the numbers 1 - 25. I embellished each little flag, then clipped them onto a long piece of chunky twine with miscellaneous coordinating clips.

Hi Everyone! It's Kathy with a fun project featuring some
FABULOUS Flea Market Cut Files available in the Silhouette Design Store and SVG Cut Files through Lori Whitlock Shop.
I was so excited to realize that with these new cut files, I could create Doodlebug critters and embellishments in ANY SIZE I wanted!! These were perfect for the bulletin board outside my daughter's dorm room. Every room has one, and the girls can decorate them as they wish. So of course we supersized some of the files! Here's what I cut...

It's hard to tell from the picture, but that fox is almost a foot tall! Here are some close ups of the different files.
Leaves
Fox
Pumpkins and Acorn
I pieced them together using Gingham-Linen Petite Prints, Swiss Dot Petite Prints and some older Dot-Grid Petite Prints. I can't wait to send them to her!! That's it for me today, thanks for stopping by to peek!
