Christmas Gifts: Shadowbox Display by Jomelle Gomez

Hello Everyone! I cannot believe it's December already and Christmas is just around the corner. Have you done all your Christmas shopping? If not, you're in luck because I would like to share with you a very cute and simple DIY project to give to your special love ones. It makes it more special because you made it with love.

This Christmas DIY shadowbox is a fun and festive way to light up your holiday decor for your home.
I made this shadowbox so that you can personalize it by adding a family picture in one of the boxes. As you can see here, I made this part where you can remove the top piece and then you can your family picture. If you don't want to, then you can just place this piece back.

I used the Milk and Cookies Collection to make this shadowbox. The first thing I normally do is spread out all the odds & ends pieces and try to play with them to see which goes well together. I then decide what background paper go well with the odds and piece so that it will pop up more instead of over powering it. I try not to choose a very busy background paper.
I love adding sprinkles everywhere as a finishing touch. Here I added a couple of the Gingerbread Sprinkles.

 More Sprinkles.

All you need to get started is a shadow box frame of your choice. I found mine at Hobby Lobby. You can then choose any Doodlebug Collections since they are all so cute. Start by putting pieces together and adding some sprinkles and voila! It's very easy and super fun to make.

Grab your shadow box and start creating your own with theme of your choice. Enjoy your day and Have a Happy Holidays!

Holiday Gift Idea: Neighbor Gifts with Courtney Lee

Happy holidays everyone!!!! I am SOOO excited to have just moved into a neighborhood where people are focused on community!!! I cannot wait to give out these neighbor gifts! Courtney Lee from Court's Crafts here to share a little neighbor gift inspiration with you for both adults and kids!

The girls had this cute idea to give gold sparkle nail polish. I loved it. To Pinterest I went and found this pin that used the mistle "toes" pun. I am one for puns so I thought this was really fun!

I had my Cricut do the write and cut feature which made this project very fast and fun.

I tied them on using bubblegum doodletwine

While I was on Pinterest I found this hilarious phrasing about red and white wine and just had to use it. So I grabbed a bunch of bottles of champagne ('tis the season!) and made these cute tags!

I had my Cricut Maker do the writing for me (I am not blessed with that adorable cute writing most of the DT has! lol!) and wrote it on vellum so that the cutest Doodlebug paper would be the focal point. All of this paper is from the Milk and Cookies collection.

I adhered my vellum and while most of it stayed hidden on some of the tags, the adhesive was showing. No one wants that. So I used liquid glue on the edges and added tinsel glitter for some snowy fun.

Then I decorated my trees with sparkle sprinkles and shape sprinkles and just had so much fun with it! Lastly I tied them to my bottle using some awesome doodlebug chunky twine

Now, just write your name and holiday wishes on the back and leave them on someone's doorstep! I am so excited to have something both for adults and for little ladies!

Did you make neighbor gifts with Doodlebug? We would LOVE to see them!

Holiday Gift Idea: CD Desk Calendar by Caroli

Hello there! How are you peeps?! Today I want to share one idea that can make a cute little present for someone you love on this Christmas, a tiny desk calendar.

For making this calendar I recycled a tiny disk case I found in my house, don't know where this came from but it was here and looked cute, so I gave it a chance to shine :)

I cut pieces of white cardstock in the same size as the disk case, and then I decorated them using paper and embellies from Fairy Tales collection, you know, my fave collection on the universe! I'll use it until there is nothing left, LOL!

I decorated each page of the calendar on both sides, thus I optimized the amount of pages. I created a simple cover, printed a calendar from excel and just enjoyed the process.

In the months of birthday of one of the member of my family I used a pic of the birthday girl/boy.

I had a lot of fun using lots of shape sprinkles and doodle pops, they are definitively my favorite kind of embellies from Doodlebug Design.

I only places pages until October because this year I plan to make a special calendar for Christmas Months (november and december).

Here you can see all the pages together, they look ute, don't you think? :)

And if you want to give it an extra detail, you can use some ribbon and put it all together, it looks cute and it makes such a cute gift.

I hope you liked this idea and give it a try, I bet you have some dis cases in your house you can use to create a simple and cute gift for someone this Christmas. Have a lovely day!
