BUNDLE OF JOY LAYOUT | with Tegan

I absolutely love Doodlebug's signature bright colors, but the soothing soft colors in the brand new baby boy and girl collections have me swooning! The pink based Bundle of Joy and blue based Special Delivery collections are perfect for documenting your little ones! Here I combined the two collections to document a sweet picture of my niece when she was a baby.

I started by using the gorgeous soft gray Choo Choo Patterned Paper from the Special Delivery Collection for my background. To say that I love this plaid paper is an understatement! I then used the cool new Doodlebug Design Doodle Cuts Nesting Scallops Circle Dies and Bundle of Joy patterned papers to create my page design. Did you notice I used some of the brand new Shape Sprinkles around the page?
I used words from the Bundle of Joy Chit Chat Odds & Ends Pack to easily create a sweet title for the page.
I embellished the scalloped circle cut outs with Bundle of Joy Icons Stickers and lots of the awesome new Shape Sprinkles! I can't get enough of this sweet and soft color palette for babies. Isn't that stork sticker just the cutest?!
I had so much fun using the Doodle Cuts Nesting Scallops Circle Dies to create this page design. I think the circles work great with the muted Bundle of Joy colors to create a soft page background.
Thanks for joining me today! I hope I have inspired you to grab the Bundle of Joy Collection and Scalloped Circle Doodle Cuts for your next layout! Have a great day!

BUNDLE OF JOY TREAT BOXES | with Karen

Okay, I have a confession to make. I am not much of a baby person - yes, even when I had my own! But this new Bundle of Joy collection from Doodlebug has me "goo gooing" all over the place. I mean, come on! It doesn't get cuter than this collection!
I decided to create one of my favourite container shapes to showcase this collection in all it's cuteness. Pillow boxes are great because they make great party favours - say, for a baby shower. But they also make great little gifts when a gift card is in order (and who doesn't appreciate a gift card when you are expecting?!).  So I stamped up some little gals using the Bundle of Joy stamps, coloured them up...
...and then used the coordinating Doodle cuts for an easy cutout!
I added some of the awesome Paper Frills to finish off an edge and add some texture and then topped everything off with some pretty Doodlebug Jewels!
And while my two little gals are hardly little anymore, and I have no reason to display these in my home, they are just too cute not to! This collection seems to have turned me into a baby person after all! Thanks for stopping by!

BAR-B-CUTE CARDS | with Tya

Hi there! So glad you could join me on the blog today! I hope you are having a great weekend! I was in my craft room this weekend and got a chance to play some more with the adorable Bar-B-Cute collection. This time around I decided to get back to card making! I created ten cards with this collection and it was so much fun! I also decided to challenge myself and use CardMaps sketches to create my cards. If you are not familiar with CardMaps, they are from the same company that makes PageMaps... my go-to resource for scrapbook layout sketches. I was super happy to see that they also had card sketches! So I gave them a go!

These ten cards are from the July 2020 set of  sketches that can be found here: JULY 2020 CardMaps

Here are the cards  I created. I used some 12x12 papers, some 6x6 papers, the Odds and Ends and Chit Chat die cuts, the This and That Sticker Sheet, and the Icon Stickers. I also used the Picnic Parade Shape Sprinkles, some of the new Confetti Shape Sprinkles, and some Doodle Twine. I also used a few metals dies, some ink, and some Wink of Stella glitter pen for some accents. Lots of fun stuff happening here!

Here are the close-ups:

This collection was so much fun to play with. I loved all the food icons as well as the fun sun, clouds, and the hot air balloon. This is a great summer-themed collection and a great way to send a sunny greeting to someone special with one of these cards. I hope I have inspired you to create a few of your own using collection.
