Fall Friends Collection: Oversized Thanksgiving Place-card Tags by Wendy Sue

Hi Doodlebug friends!  It's Wendy Sue here with you today, sharing a project I whipped up for Thanksgiving Dinner!  Actually, it's a project for our post-Thanksgiving dinner.  You see, we always celebrate Thanksgiving with all of our relatives at my parent's house, but then I make a smaller version for just our little family to have here at home.  I usually don't do a lot of dressing-up the table with decorations, but when I saw the super cute Thanksgiving elements in the "Fall Friends" collection I just had to do a little something special.  Instead of small place-cards, I decided to use the large tags from the patterned paper to make over sized Thanksgiving place-card tags to lay on each of our plates.
Here's a look at each of the tags:
I cut the bases from the 12x12 sheet, then cut a small piece of patterned paper from the 6x6 pad to fit over the center of each tag.
I added the sweet die-cuts with foam adhesive dots...and I added some of the stickers with foam adhesive dots too!
I added sprinkles and shaped sprinkles to some of the tags.
And mini clothespins too!
I added names with the Jack & Jill rub-ons...one of my all-time favorite Doodlebug products!
I can't wait to dress up our little family Thanksgiving table a little bit this year!
What would YOU create with the fun "Fall Friends" collection?!?

Fall Friends Collection: Raking Leaves Layout by Kathy

Hi Everyone!  It's Kathy today with my Fall Friends Layout!  Fall is my most favorite time of year!  I love the cooler temperatures and the leaf peeping!!  We get tons of leaves in our yard, so there is always the chore of raking... some of us take it more seriously than others as you can see from these pictures from a few years ago... take a peek...

The colors in the Fall Friends Collection are fabulous, and don't even get me started on all of the adorable critter stickers!!

The little owl from the Icons Sticker Sheet was irresistible!  I also love how I can mix and match the leaf and acorn from the Friendly Forest collection! And don't get me started on the shaped Sprinkles!
I'm also excited for the touch of swimming pool in the collection... it is my favorite color! That's it for me today, make sure to come back next week for a peek at the October 31st collection!!  Thanks for stopping by!

Fall Friends Collection: Hello Fall Door Decor by Jennifer Beason

Hello Doodlebug fans. Don't you just love the new Fall Friends collection?  It's full of fun woodland critters, gorgeous colorful leaves and adorable whimsical patterned papers. The project I created uses all of these elements and I love how it turned out. As you can see I made another wall hanging, this time for Fall.
The owl was cut out of cardstock with my Silhouette, then mounted to chipboard.  I added some brown twine above his eyes and also used twine to make a pom pom crest, for the top of his head.
Layered buttons, cardstock and sprinkles were used to create the eyes and a trimmed leaf Doodle Pop was used to create the beak.
Two leafy chipboard branches were covered with patterned papers and cardstock from the collection. Then additional leaf die-cuts were added. The leaves were then embellished with glitter and berry sprinkles.
For the bottom section of the wall hanging,  some half circle scalloped chipboard pages were used. After covering the chipboard with patterned paper, a border and tree sticker were added along with glitter and berry sprinkles. More twine was used to create a large pompom and additional twine was glued around the edge of the half circle page.
Teensy Type letter stickers and a "Fall" oval (cut from patterned paper) were used to create the tittle. Some more doodle pop stickers were added.  Then hardware was attached to the back of the piece for hanging. Happy crafting, everyone! Hope you have a chance to try out this new fun collection.
