WINTER WONDERLAND HOME DECOR | with Shellye

Winter is here and what better way to brighten up your crafty space (or desk area)
than with an adorable tiered display featuring Winter Wonderland!

I love to decorate this metal tiered stand (I found at Wal Mart) for different seasons; I like to make it functional too with some of my go-to craft supplies.

To the tray I also like to add an "ornament" or sign for each tier, purely for fun and decoration!
For the winter theme, I chose to craft two little displays using the create-a-cards as the base.  I added a small wooden disc to the bottom of the cards to secure their standing.

I had so much much sifting through the die-cuts, doodle-pops and washi tapes to create the two cute scenes for the sign-fronts.

Next I wanted to add some height and texture to my tray, so I chose two 6" bottle brush trees.  To them I added the gorgeous acetate snowflake (just attach with hot glue) and a button to the center.  I also adhered a dimensional adhesive dot to the bottom of the tree to hold in place.

And even the store-bought spool of trim got some attention!  I simply traced the top onto a swatch from the 6X6 paper pad, trimmed out and embellished.

Tiny jars are my fave!  I purchased these at the Dollar Tree and boy do they come in handy.  When I'm set to use certain colors, I'll fill the jars with pins, clips and other small bits.  I also found this handy doweled stand where I can thread on my assortment of winter-y washi tapes.

And I hope you didn't miss the front of the top tier where I added the sweet bunting.  I chose to attach it with repositionable adhesive dots so that it can be preserved once the tray moves into Spring.

This Winter Wonderland display just brightens any dreary day!
Thank you for joining me today!

WINTER WONDERLAND MINI ALBUM | with Traci

Are you loving the new Winter Wonderland collection?  Me too!!  I've had so much fun playing with all of this cuteness ... in fact, I was creating my mini album when a few girlfriends were over to scrapbook with me.  I kept smiling and giggling every time a page was done and they said "Hey, you're having way too much fun over there!" Ha ha!  No such thing as too much fun with Doodlebug!

For this cute little mini I used an album by Prima, and a combination of 12x12 and 6x6 papers from the collection.  I also threw in some petite prints and some white card stock.
I love the hint of glitter on the icon stickers ... aren't those little mittens with the twine cute?!
In addition to icon stickers, I added some chit chat pieces throughout the album.  I can't decide which little characters in this line I like the most ... they are ALL so cute!
Does anyone LOVE that plaid as much as I do?? 💗

So if you or your friends find you are smiling and giggling excessively while creating with Winter Wonderland, don't be alarmed.  It's going to happen!  Have fun, and visit my blog or shop if you're interested in the DIY kit for this album.

WINTER WONDERLAND LAYOUT | with Maryám

Since the very moment, I saw the catalog from the Winter Wonderland collection I fell in love with it. In case you didn’t know, I love winter! Yep, I am one of those who don’t like much the hot weather and prefer much more a colder climate, so obviously I was really excited to play with this collection.

For my very first project, I wanted to create a layout featuring snowflakes, so I pulled out the Snowflake Craft KitTM which is not new to the collection, but coordinates perfectly well, and built some 3D snowflakes. I also used some of the snowflakes from the Craft KitTM as a template to create some new ones out of some Winter Wonderland pattern papers.

I also included some more snowflakes from both of the Odds&EndsTM sets, and heat embossed a few more from the Winter Wonderland Doodle StampsTM onto vellum paper using white embossing powder.

To finish my page, I added the cute little snowman from one of the doodle-popsTM, and also some words from the This&ThatTM sticker sheet.

That is it for today! I hope you guys enjoyed this post and liked the ideas I shared. Also, don’t forget that if you have any questions just leave me a comment or send me an email. I’ll be really happy to help you.
Have a super awesome day!
